Demon Piece Races – All Race Buffs

Trying to work out what each of the Demon Piece Races does? Depending on the race, you’ll automatically receive certain buffs and a change to your character’s appearance.

Demon Piece Races

Everything you need to know about every obtainable race in Demon Piece is written below! The rarer the race, the better the buffs typically. However, I will say that the Cyborg race, which is one of the rarest, isn’t quite unimpressive comparably.

Human

There is a 30% chance of obtaining the Human race

• No buffs are provided when rolling Human
• No cosmetic changes

Skypian

The Skypian race has a 20% chance of dropping as you roll.

• As a Skypian, you automatically obtain a +1 Geppo
• You can jump much higher than the other races, allowing for easier travel as you explore
• Your character gets some neat wings!

Fishman

You have a 15% chance of rolling the Fishman race!

• As a Fishman, your swimming speed is increased (who’d have thought?)
• You are allowed to swim in water while having an equipped Demon Fruit
• You get fins on your arms to help you swim! You’re now a fish, after all

Mink

Similarly to the Fishman race, the Mink race has a 15% drop rate chance.

• Your overall Stamina stat is increased by 15%
• Your movement speed is boosted by 15%
• A tail or other animalistic features appear!

Oni

The Oni race has a 10% chance to drop, and for good reason.

• Your resistance to your opponent’s Fighting Style DMG is now 10% stronger
• Your overall resistance to Sword DMG gets a 10% boost
• Your character sprouts some horns

Lunarian

Arguably better than the Cyborg (information found below), the Lunarian race has a 5% chance to appear when rolling.

• You yourself are immune to all Burn DMG
• Your M1 attack has a chance to inflict your enemy with the Burn debuff
• Your overall Burn DMG receives a 2x boost
• Like in the anime, your avatar receives black wings as a Lunarian

Cyborg

Beep boop, this race has a 5% chance to drop.

• Every type of DMG that you deal against enemies gets a 5% boost
• You get a robotic accessory as a Cyborg, particularly a glowing metal circle on your chest
