Demon Piece Haki

There are 2 different types of Haki to wield in Demon Piece. Firstly, there’s the Ken Haki, and secondly, there’s the Armament Haki. Whether it’s the former or the latter that you’re interested in, I plan to go over both in this guide!

Ken Haki

If your Ken Haki is deactivated for the moment, it replenishes 1 dodge per 10 seconds. So, make sure to only activate it when you have a sufficient amount of dodges stacked up. Be warned that your Ken Haki can be broken, leading to you waiting 5 seconds to use it again as it cools down.

Your opponent can break your Ken Haki, or you can break someone else’s by utilising the most powerful move in your arsenal. Not only does this place the Ken Haki on a cooldown, but the user also takes damage. Using up all of your dodges will break the Ken Haki for 40 seconds, so use them sparingly when needed.

Ken Haki Colours

All Ken Haki colours have around a 12.5% chance to drop, with no specific colour being rarer or more common than the other. These colours include:

  • Yellow, pink, red, cyan, green, purple, blue, and orange

How to Unlock Ken Haki

Unlocking your Ken Haki is a bit more involved than the Armanent Haki. Firstly, you need to get to Sandora Island. Look for the NPC called Fresh, who is actually Ai Hoshino from Oshi No Ko (what is she doing here?), and interact with her. She requests you to pay her 200K Beli to unlock a quest, which leads you to a boss fight. Upon completion, you get your Ken Haki!

Armament Haki

As your levels increase, the damage you deal is greater. You should also keep in mind that those who wield Logia will not take damage unless they are attacked by an Armament Haki. Or, if you don’t have an Armament Haki, you can opt for a Logia-based Devil Fruit such as Smoke, Gas, Sand, Lightning, Flame, Light, and Dark.

Levels of Damage

  • Level 1
    • +5% DMG
  • Level 2
    • +10% DMG
  • Level 3
    • +15% DMG
  • Level 4

  • Level 5
    • +35% DMG

Armament Haki Colours

  • Rainbow

    • 10% chance
  • All Other Colours

    • 10% chance

How to Unlock Armament Haki

It’s much simpler than the Ken Haki! Well, unless you count the various locations that you have to search through. Make your way to the Jungle Island, which can be accessed from level 60+. You can use your Geppo ability to get to the top of the cliffs, where you’ll find the NPC called, Alphirex. They’re the Haki Trainer, and they ask you to find a certain Ancient Scroll. There are 5 locations that the Ancient Scroll can appear in: Orange Town, Starter Town, Jungle Island, on the Baratie, and Shells Town.
