Click Play to start your adventure and help Detective Dupin solve the mystery. Click on The Black Cat, in the middle of the scene, to get started.
Maps
Yellow lines indicate rooms or areas that connect to each other. Black dotted lines indicate areas/maps that connect to other areas/maps. Note that some areas do not connect and this guide will offer the most direct route for navigating between those areas.
The Street
Click on the Wall (1) and collect the Rag. Collect the Bucket (yellow), click on the Sewer Drain (2), click on the Grate (yellow) to remove it, use the Bucket on the Water and then continue towards the House (white).
Click on the Ground (1), use the Bucket of Water in the Hole (2), collect the Ball (green) and the Branch (yellow), click on the Hat (3) to move it and collect the Glove (orange). Return to the previous scene, click on the Sewer Drain and use the Glove to collect the Razor (4). Return to the Gate, use the Ball on the Dog (5), click on left Park Bench (6) and use the Branch and the Razor on the Bench (7).
Click on Razor (purple) to straighten it (1), use it on the top of the Branch (yellow) and then use the Rope (green) between the Razor and Branch (2). Use the Razor Tool on the Leash (3), click on the Gate (4) and click forward.
Collect the Ladder (yellow), click on the lower left Window (1), click on the Black Cat (2) and collect the Ribbon (green). Return to the Sewer Drain, use the Ribbon on the Ring (3) and collect the Ring (orange). Return to the House, click on the Door (4), use the ring on the Door Knocker, click on it and enter the House.
The Downstairs – Left Side
1: to the Ballroom, 2: to the Dining Room, 3: to the Garden, 4: to the Upstairs Hall, 5: to the Sitting Room, a: Umbrella Holder, b: Hall Chest, c: right Lion.
Click on the Umbrella Holder (a – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section). Click on the Panels (white) to open them (may contain items) and collect all the items in the list. Inventory Item: Oil Can (yellow)
Click on the right Lion (c – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section), click on the Leaf (blue) and collect the Key (yellow).
Click right to enter the Dining Room (2 – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section), collect the Spade Head (yellow) and then return to the Front Hall.
Click left to enter the Ballroom (1 – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section), click on the Mirror (1), use Rag (green) on the Mirror (2), collect the Window Handle (3) and then click on the Chair (4). When finished with the object search, click on the Door (5).
Click on the 3 buttons on the back of the chair and the wall panel (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Hand Pick (green).
Click on the Door, use the Oil Can (green) on the Hinge (1) and click to enter the Game Room (2).
click on the Gramophone (1), collect the Lion Key (yellow) and then click on the Window (2).
Collect all the items and then return to the Front Hall; click back twice. Inventory Item: Drawer Handle (green).
Click on the Hall Chest (b – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section), use the Drawer Handle (green), click on the Drawer and collect the Hammer (yellow).
Click on the Umbrella Holder (a – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Gears.
Leave the House and return to the Gate (click back twice). Click on the Right Bench (blue) and use the Hammer (green) on the Nail. Return to the Game Room (click forward twice, left once and forward once).
Click on the Sofa (1), use Spade Head (green), Nail (orange) and Hammer (purple) on Sofa (2). click and drag the Spade Head to bottom of Spade Handle (3), use the Nail in the Hole (4) and then use the Hammer on the Nail.
Return to Front Door (click back 3 times), click on Steps (1), use the Hand Pick (green) on the Crevice (2) and collect the Clock Key (3). Click on the Mound of Dirt (4), use the Spade (click twice) on the Dirt (5) and collect the Flower (6).
Return to the Ballroom (forward once, left once), click on Chair and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Cage Key.
Return to the Game Room (forward once). Click on the Clock (1), use the Clock Key (orange) in the Keyhole and the Gears (yellow) on the Door (2), click the Key, use the Gears on the spindles (3) and then collect the Mysterious Paper (4). Click on the Window (5).
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Matchbox.
Click on the Door (1), use the Flower, in the third slot (2). Click on the Flowers to move them under their correct images; click on a, c, b and then d (3) to solve (4).
Click right to enter the Side Porch. Click on the Cage (1), use Cage Key (green) in the Lock (2), click on the Key and then click on the Straw (3) 2 times. Click the Green Button (white) and collect the Tile (4).
Return to the Ballroom (click back twice), click on the Left Door (1), use the Tile in the Lock (2) and open the Locks by moving the Tiles to match the images on the right (3).
Click on the following for the video solution
Click left to enter the Formal Parlor. Click on the Chair (1) and collect the Bolt Cutters (2). Click on the Fireplace (3), use the Matchbox (yellow) on the Fireplace and the Mysterious Paper (green) in the Fire (4). The Code is 7284 (5 – this code is always the same). Click on the Safe (6), click on the numbers to enter the code (click for clockwise and right click for counter-clockwise), click on the Handle (7) and collect the Colored Tiles (8).
Return to the Side Porch (click back once, forward once, right once). Click on the Box (1), use the Colored Tiles (yellow) on the Top (2), click on any 3×3 section (the first 2 moves are shown. Click the orange tile, 3 times and click the green tile once. This will solve the Blue tiles) to rotate the perimeter tiles clockwise, or right click to rotate them counter-clockwise (3) so you end up with them arranged (4) according to the diagram. Collect the Window Handle (5).
The key to solving this puzzle is to do one color at time. This puzzle begins the same way, each time, so the logical choices would be to complete the Blue section, then the Orange and then work on the Red and Green together. You can rotate the tiles clockwise (click) or counter-clockwise (right click), which makes solving a lot easier than the in-game instructions (click to rotate clockwise, only) indicate. Click on the following for the video solution. Note: clicks will show a Red circle and right clicks will show a Yellow circle.
Return to the Formal Parlor (click back twice, left once). Click on the Window (1), click on the Latch (2) and use both of the Window Handles (green) on the Latch (3). Click on Right Handle (4), click on the Latch (5) and then collect the Tweezers (yellow) from the Window Sill.
Return to the Front Hall (click back twice). Click on the Door (1), use the Tweezers in the Lock (2), use the Garden Key (yellow) in the Lock, click on the Key, click on the Door and then click forward to enter the Back Porch to the Garden.
Click right to the Side of the House (1). Collect the Spare Boiler Parts (yellow) and click on the Debris (2). Just for fun, click on the Chicken (red) and wait…
Click on the Trash Can Lid (white) to open it (click to look inside; may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Saw (green).
Return to the Back Porch (click back once), click Left (1) and click on the Bushes (2).
Click on the Clay Jug and the Paving Stone (white) to open then (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Glue.
Click on the Windmill (1) to remove the Banner, use the Ladder (green) on the Tree (2), click on the Branches (3), use the Saw (orange) on the Branch (4), collect the Rope (5), click on the Door (6), use the Bolt Cutters (red) on the Chain (7) and then click to enter the Garden House.
Use the Rope (orange) on the Ornament (1) at the top of the Cupboard, click on the Rope to send it outside (2) and then click right to enter the Billiard Room (3).
Click on Billiard Table (1), take the Newspaper (orange) and the Broken Cue Stick (yellow) from the Table (2) and then click on the Corner (3).
Click on the Teddy Bear’s Head and the Small Cabinet (white) to open them (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Gear (green).
Return to the front of the Garden House (click back twice). Click on the Small Fountain (1), click on the Rope (2), use it on Ballerina’s Leg, use the Gear (red) on the Mechanism and then return inside the Garden House (3).
Click on the Door Opening (1), use the Saw (green) on the Boards (you’ll need to click at least 4 times, in several places; this part is buggy and you may have to collect the Saw from your inventory a couple times), collect the Firewood (2) and then click left to enter the Parlor (3).
Collect the Organ Roller (yellow), click on the Table (1) and collect the Owl Key (purple). Use the Broken Cue Stick (green) and the Glue (red) on the Table (2), use the long section on the short section (3) and then use the Glue on the joint (4). Click on the Spider Web (5), use the Cue Stick, collect the Ice Pick (orange) and then return outside (click back twice).
Click on the Small Fountain (1), use the Ice Pick (green) on the Garden Gnome (2), collect the Code Scrap (3), return to the Billiard Room (click forward once, right once) and then click on the Corner (4).
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Candle (green).
click on the Chest (1), use the Code Scrap (green) on the Chest (2) and click on the Lock (orange). Enter the Code (3) by pressing each shape in order. Each symbol has 1 to 8 shapes; use them as if they were numbers (4) and click on them in order – 1 8 4 5 7 2 3. Collect the Lock Piece (5) and then return to the Parlor (click back once, left once).
Click on the Vanity (1), use the Lock Piece (purple) in the Lock (2), rotate the rings until the image is correct (3), use the Keys shown in the Locks (4 – the visual logic escaped me; it’s pure guesswork as to which key goes where. The solution is always the same). click on each one, collect the Pawl ([]) and then return to the Main Area (click back once).
Use the Candle (yellow) on the Chandelier (1), click on the Boiler (2), use the Spare Boiler Parts (green) on the Floor (3), use the Boiler Parts in the correct locations (4), use the Firewood (dark blue) in the Fire Box (purple) and use the Lit Candle (yellow) on the Firewood. Click on the Back Door (5), use the Pawl (red) in the Slot (6) and enter the Garden.
Click right to the Gazebo (1) and click on the Tent (2).
Click on the Box (white) to open it (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Clamp (green).
Collect the Record (green), click right to the Folly (1) and then click on the Bushes (2).
Collect the Door Latch (yellow), click on the Door (white) to open it (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Small Shovel (green).
Return to the Fountain (click back twice), click on the Bricks (1), use the Small Shovel (green – click 2 times) on the Gravel (2), use the Clamp (red) on the Pipe (3) and click on the Handle (purple). Return to the Folly (click right twice) and click on the Bushes again.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Scrub Brush (green) and return to the Study in the House (click back 6 times, left once, forward once).
Click on the Gramophone (1), use the Record (green) on the Turntable (2), click the Handle (yellow), use the Owl Key (purple) in the Lock (3), collect the Owl Statuette (orange) and then return to the front of the Garden House (click back twice, forward twice) and click on the Bushes (4).
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Sack (green). Return to the Fountain (forward twice).
Click on the Table (1), collect the Cup (2), use the Cup on the Fountain (3) and click right to the Gazebo (4) and continue back to the Folly (click right once).
Use the Sack (purple) on the Sandbox (1), return to the Fountain (click back twice), use the Sack of Sand on the Fountain, return to the Folly (click right twice), click on the Door (2), use the Wet Sack of Sand on the Swing, collect the Stick, Organ Handle and Pliers and then return to the Gazebo (click back once).
Click on the Organ (1), use the Cup of Water (green) on the Table (2). Fill each of the containers with water, up to the red line (3). Note the marks scratched into the wood next to each container. these are the amounts that need to be in each container to solve the puzzle. They hold 4, 6 and 5 units of water and you must fill them to 2, 3 and 4 units, respectively. Click on the Cup of Water, use it on a Container and use the Containers on each other and the Cup of Water.
The solution is:
Fill 1, empty part of 1 into 3, empty the rest of 1 into 2 and empty 3 into the Cup of Water. Do this 3 times.
Fill 1, empty part of 1 into 3, empty 3 into the Cup of Water, empty the rest of 1 into 3.
Fill 1, empty part of 1 into 3. Puzzle solved.

Use the Music Roller (green) in the Base of the Cabinet (1), use the Handle (yellow) on the Side of the Cabinet (2), click on the Handle and collect the Paper Clip (orange) and the Handkerchief (purple) from the Paper (3). Use the Handkerchief on the Viewing Glass (4) and then return to the Front Hall (click back 5 times) in the House.
Click on the upper left to enter the Hall (1) and click on the right Door (2). Use the Newspaper (green) on the Floor, click on it to move it under the door, use the Paper Clip (red) in the Lock (3), click on the Newspaper, collect the Key (4) and then click on the Dresser (5).
Click on the Painting (white) on the Wall (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Plate (green).
Click on the Drapes (1) and click on the Window. Use the Pliers (green) on the Hanger (2), twice. Return to the Formal Parlor (click back once, left twice).
Click on the Fireplace, use the Plate (green) in the Fire, return upstairs (click back twice, upper left once) and click on the Dresser again.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Screwdriver (green).
Click on the Door (1) at the end of the hall. Click on each of the dials to rotate them to match the code from the plate (2). Clicking will rotate them down and right clicking will rotate them up. From the top, clockwise, click twice (green), right click twice (red), no click (yellow), right click once (blue) and click once (purple). Once solved (3), click forward to enter the Library.
Click on the Globe (1) and use the Screwdriver (green) in the Hole (2 – this can be tricky; position the tip of the Screwdriver, not the Hand cursor, directly over the Hole). Collect the Pen (yellow) and use the Screwdriver on each of the 3 screws (3 – again, this can be tricky; hold the tip of the Screwdriver over each screw and click) to remove the Cover (4). Click on the Desk (5) and collect the Candle (6). Return to the Formal Parlor (click back twice, left twice).
Click on the Chair (1), collect the Skeleton (2), click on the Fireplace (3) and use the Candle (green) in the Fire. Return to the Library (click back twice, upper left once, forward once).
Click on the Desk (1), use the Skeleton (green) on the Leg , use the Lit Candle (orange) on the Unlit Candle (2) and click on the Ring (3). Click where the Beam of Light hits the Bookshelves (4).
Click on the Hints (green) book for clues to arrange the books in the correct order (the same order as the clues. There are several correct solutions; they just need to be in the correct order. Click on a book, drag it to a new location and release your mouse button to place it. The clues and correct titles are:
Use the Clothes Hanger Wire on the Lever (1), enter the Office (2) and click on the right Window (3).
Open both Upper Doors and the top left Drawer (white) in the Dresser (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Incense Sticks (green).
Click on the Desk (1) and use the Pen (green) in the Pen Holder (2). Collect the Horse (purple), Lamp (red) and Bent Gear (yellow) and then return to the Bedroom (click back twice).
Click on the Door (1), use the Key in the Lock, click on the Key and enter the Bedroom (2).
Click on the Cat (1), collect the Eagle Key (purple), click on the Vanity (2), use the Incense Sticks (yellow) in the Holder, use the Horse (green) on the Statue Base (3) and use the Candle (red) on the Incense Sticks (4).
Click on the Desk Lid (1) and click on the Compartment (2). To solve the puzzle, you must remove all but one flower by jumping over other flowers to eliminate them (3). Click on a flower, drag it to the next empty peg hole and click to place it. You can only move diagonally and horizontally and you must jump over another Flower. You can click the Reset (green) button if you’d like to start over. There may be other solutions; this one took 9 moves (4).

Return to the Office (click back once, forward once, right once), click on the Fireplace (1), use the Lamp (green) in the Fireplace (2), pull the Lever and click forward to enter the Main Cellar.
Click on the Middle Door (1) and enter the Workshop. Collect the Pole Hook (green), click on the Drawer (2) of the Armoire, collect the Wrench (red) and then click on the Desk Drawers (3).
Click on the Drawer (white) in the desk (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Crowbar (green). Return to the Main Cellar (click back once).
Click on the Right Door (1), use the Crowbar on both of the Hinge Pins and enter the Pantry.
Collect the Vinegar (yellow), click underneath the Sink (1), collect the Fretsaw (red), use the Wrench (green) on the Nut and collect the Valve Handle (2 -purple). Click on the Shelf (3), use the Wrench on the Vase (4) and collect the Vase Shard (orange). Click underneath the Worktable (5), use the Pole Hook (light red) on the Sack (6), use the Vase Shard on the Sack (7) and collect the Mortar and Pestle (8). Return to the Main Cellar (click back once).
Click on the Furnace (1), use the Valve Handle (red) on the Valve Stem (2) and click on the Valve. Click on the Table (3), use the Fretsaw on the table, click on each of the Wing Nuts (green) and use the Leather Piece (yellow) on the Blade (4). Click on the Left Door (5), use the Saw on the Lock Bar (6 – click twice), enter the Laboratory and click on the Folding Screen (7).
Click on the Shawl (white) to move it (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Wax Statue (green). Return to the Main Cellar (click back once).
Click on the Furnace (1), use the Wax Statue (green) in the Pan (2), collect the Chemical Plate (3) and return to the Laboratory (4).
Click on the Mechanism (1), use the Chemical Plate (green) in the empty space. Reconstruct the Chemical Formulas shown: CH3COOH (Acetic Acid, aka, vinegar) and CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate, aka: chalk). To solve (3), click on the buttons as follows: c, d, b and a, for the Vinegar (3) and then b and c for the Chalk (4). Collect the Chalk (purple) when you’ve solved the puzzle and then click on the Table (5).

Use the Vinegar (green), Chalk (purple) and Mortar and Pestle (orange) on the Table (1). Use the Chalk on the Mortar and then use the Pestle (red) on the Chalk (2). Click on the Stopper (yellow) use the Powdered Chalk (3) and then use the Vinegar (green) on the Bottle (use it directly on the bottle, not on the neck of the bottle) and click on the Stopper. The chemical reaction will create H2O (water) in the bottle and send CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) through the tube and raise the Key; click on the Key (4) and then return to the Workshop (click back once, right corner once).
Click on the Armoire (1), use the Key (purple) in the Lock, click on the Key, collect the Vise Handle (green) and then click on the Desk Drawers (2).
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Hammer (green).
Click on the Vise (1), use the Vise Handle (green) and then the Bent Gear (purple) in the Vise (2), click on the Vise Handle, use the Hammer (red) on the Bent Gear (3) and collect the Gear (4 – orange). Return to the Office (click back twice).
Click on the Telescope (1), use the Lens (purple) and then the Bent Gear (orange) on the Telescope (2). Switch the positions of the lenses until you match the configuration shown in the diagram (3). The starting configuration, of the second, third and fourth lenses, is always different; it should only take a couple moves to solve the puzzle. When complete (4), click on the right Window (5).
Collect all the Items. Inventory Item: Cage (green). When complete, return to the Gazebo (click back 3 times, forward once, left twice, forward once and right once) and click on the Tent.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Cheese (green).
Click on the Gates (1), use the Saw Blade (green) on each of the 3 Lock Bars (2 – hold your Hand cursor directly over each Lock Bar), click to enter the Back Garden and click on the front of the Carriage (3).
Click on the corner of the Seat Cushion and the Brick (white) in the column (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Statue Arm (green).
Click on the Carriage Door (1), collect the Steel Bar (2), click on the Statue (3), use the Steel Bar on the Statue (4), collect the Nail Puller (5) and then click right to the Outdoor Chessboard.
Collect the Rapier (green), click on the Table (1), use the Nail Puller (red) on the Box (2) and then collect the Fireworks (3). Click on the Statue (4), collect the Statue Arm (yellow), use both Statue Arms (yellow and purple) on the Statue (5) and then click on the Open Panel (6).
Use the Cage (green – you must place the Cage first) and then the Cheese (red – the hotspot can be overly precise; you may have to try it a couple times) Maze (1). Click on a piece of Cheese and use it on an intersection to get the Mouse to move in that direction (2). Continue placing pieces of Cheese (you have an unlimited amount), at each intersection, until the Mouse exits on top of the Glass Button (3). Collect the Handle (4), return to the Carriage (click back once) and then click on the front of the Carriage, again.

Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Ball of Yarn (green).
Click on the Door (1), use the Handle (green) on the Door (2), click on the Handle, click on the Door, collect the Chessboard (3) and then return to the Outdoor Chessboard (click right once).
Click on the Table (1), use the Chessboard (green) on the Table (2), use the Chess Pieces on the Chessboard (3 – anywhere is fine), collect the Pistol (4), return to the Carriage (click back once) and then click on the Door, again.
Use the Fireworks (a – green), Rapier (b – purple) and Pistol (c – orange), in that order, on the Seat (1) and then use the Ball of Yarn (red) on the Pistol. Click on the Carriage Door and click forward to the Lake Shore (2).
Click forward to the Water Wheel (1). Remove the Debris, collect the Nails and the click left to the Dock (2).
Click on the Wood Pile (1), collect the Board (2) and then click on the Bushes (3).
Click on the Chest (white) to open it (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Oilcan (green)
Click on the Lock (1), use the Steel Bar (green) on the Lock (2) and click forward to enter the Boathouse.
Click on the Saw (1), use the Oil Can (green) on the Bottle of Oil (2), click on the Controls (3), click on the Handle (4), collect the Hammer (yellow) and then click on the Lever (5).
Click on the Table, again, use the Hammer (yellow) on the Bottle of Oil (2) and the Board (purple) on the Saw (6) and then collect the Boat Hook (orange) and the Cut Board (7 – red). Click on the Controls, again, and click the Lever (5).
Click on the Boat (8), use the Board and Nails (light brown) on the Hole (9), use the Hammer on the Nails (hold the end of the Hammer, not the Hand cursor, over each Nail and click) and then use the Boat Hook on the Front (10). Return outside to the Dock (click back once).
Click on the Winch (1), use the Oil Can (green) on the Handle (2) and click on the Handle. Click on the Broken Boat (3), collect the Tiger Key (purple), click on the Hook (4) and then return to the Boathouse (5).
Click on the Boat (1), use the Winch Hook on the Boat Hook (2) and then return to the Boathouse (click forward once). Click on the Box (3), use the Eagle Key (purple) on the Lock and collect the Eagle Statuette. Return to the Fountain (click back 6 times).
Click on the Table (1), use the Stick (green) and the Scrub Brush (cyan) on the Table (2), click on the Tuning Peg (orange) and then click on the Violin String (yellow). Use the Scrub Brush on the end of the Handle and use the Violin String on the Joint. Click on the upper part of the Fountain (3), use the Long Scrub Brush (red) on the Moss (4), use the Tiger Key (purple) in the Lock (5), and collect the Tiger Statuette (6). Return to the Dock [click right once, forward once (on the left), click on the Carriage Door, forward once, forward again (on the right), left once) and click on the Bushes.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: 2 Oars (green).
Use the Oars (green) on the Boat.
Click on the Mannequin (1) and collect the Key (green) and the Cat Statuette (2 – yellow). Click on the Table (3), use the Cat Statuette in the Base (4), collect the Lock Part (5) and then click on the Chest (6).
Use the Lock Part (purple) on the Lock. Move each part of the Lock to one of the Spindles (yellow) until the Lock is assembled. Click on a piece, right click to rotate it clockwise and then click to place it. When a piece is placed correctly, it will lock into place.

When complete, use the Key (green) in the Key Hole (1), click on the Key, click on the Letter (2) and collect Pluto’s Name Tag (3). Click left (4) to get to the Path to the Side of the House.
Click on the Mirror (1),
Click on the Box (1), collect the Bucket Handle (yellow), click on the Debris (2), and then (when you finish the object search) click on the Door (3) and click left to enter the Cellar Landing.
Collect all the items; look inside Trash Can (white) it may contain items in the list. Inventory Item: Turn Wheel (green).
Click left to enter the Laundry Room (1), click on the Bucket (2), use the Handle (green) on the Bucket (3 – click anywhere on the Bucket), collect the Bucket and then click on the Laundry (4).
Click on both pieces hanging on the Clothesline (white – only one is shown) to move them (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Meat Grinder (green).
Click on the Trap Door (1), click on the Rope Ladder (2), click down to enter the Laboratory (3) and then click on the Folding Screen.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: File (green).
Return to the Side of the House (click up once, back twice). Click on the Box (1) use the File (green) on the Lock (2), click on the Lock, collect the Soap (3) and then return to the Pantry in the Main Cellar [click left twice, down once, back once, right (room closest to the front) once].
Click on the Sink (1), collect the Grater (2 – green), use the Bucket (a – cyan) in the Sink, click the Faucet (b – yellow), collect the Bucket of Water and then return to the Main Cellar (click back once).
Click on the Table (1), use the Meat Grinder (green) on the Table (2), click twice on the Wing Nut (yellow) and collect the Lever (3 – purple). Click on the Furnace (4), use the Bucket of Water (orange) on top (5), collect the Bucket of Warm Water and return to the Laboratory (6).
Click on the Table (1), use the Grater (green) and the Soap (orange) on the Table (2), use the Soap on the Grater, collect the Soap Shavings (3) and return to the Laundry Room (4) and click on the Laundry, again.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Dirty Tapestry (green).
Click on the Washer (1), use the Turn Handle (a – red), the Lever (b – cyan), the Bucket of Warm Water (c – yellow), the Soap Shavings (d – white) and then the Dirty Tapestry (e – green), in that order, on the Washer (2). Click on the Agitator Handle (orange) and then click on the Plug (purple) to empty the Washer (3).
Collect the Wet Tapestry (yellow), use the Wet Tapestry (red) on the Wringer, collect the Tapestry Piece (2) and then return to the Cellar Landing (click back once).
Click on the Wall Hanging (1), use the Tapestry Piece (green), collect the Bouquet of Flowers and then click on the Door below the Cellar Landing (4).
Use the Bouquet of Flowers (green) on the Man’s hand (1). Click on the joints of the arms (purple), of the Man and the Woman, so the Man hands the Bouquet of Flower to the Woman. Note: right clicking has no effect. When complete, click on the Door to enter the Wine Cellar.

Collect the Hook (yellow) and the Wine Glass (red) and then click left (blue) into the Cask Storage.
Collect the Wineglass (orange), click on the Shelves (1), use the 3 Wine Glasses on the Shelves (2) and then use the Wine Bottle (purple) on each of the 4 Wine Glasses (3). You must click on the Wine Bottle and then click on each Wine Glass (anywhere is fine, as long as the Wine Glass is highlighted) to fill them. Click on the Mirrors to position them so the beam hits the Lion in the forehead (you only need to click on each mirror once). When complete, collect the Key (4) and then click on the Wine Rack (5).
Click on the Curtains and the Case (white) to open them (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Weight (green).
Click on the Rocking Chair, use the Hook (a – green) and then the Weight (b – red) on the Chair Back, collect the Wheel (yellow) and then click on the Wine Rack, again.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Rose Handle
Return to the Cask Storage (click back once), use the Wheel (green) on the Cart (1) and click on the Cask (yellow) to move it. Click on the Floor (2) and collect the Handle (3).
Use the Rose Handle (1) on the Tile, click on the Handle (2), click on the Chain (3), use the Lion Key in the Lock (4), collect the Lion Statuette (5) and then return to the main part of the Wine Cellar (click back once).
Click on the Door (1), use the Key, click on the Key, enter the Crypt (2), collect the Snake Key (3) and then return to the Library (this is easiest, and takes less time, if you go through the Trapdoor in the Laundry; click back twice, left once, down once, back 3 times).
Click on the Globe, use the Snake Key in the Lock, collect the Snake Statuette and then return to the Crypt [click right once, forward twice (second time is through the left door into the Laboratory), up once, back once, forward (at the bottom right) once, right once].
Click on the Jar (1), use the Magnet on the Jar (2), use the Magnet (3) on the Gear (red – click and drag the Magnet down to the Gear), click on the Armoire (4), use the Gear and the Handle on the Mechanism (5).
Click on the Shelf (1), note the images on the wall that show the shape of each Statuette’s base (2), use each of the Statuettes in the Slots (3) and wait for the Mechanism (4) to move the Armoire.
Click forward into the Hidden Room (1), collect the Pickaxe (2) and use it on the Wall (3). Watch the ending movie and credits.

Once the credits finish, click on Skip (upper right corner) to get to the Main Menu. Click on Extras, click on Extra Content and then click on Play.

Click on the Black Cat (1) collect the Weight (2) and click left, upstairs (c). a: to the Dining Room, b: to the Sitting Room.
Click on the Window, collect the glove and then return to the Front Hall (click back once).
Click right to enter the Dining Room (a – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section). Click on the Table (1), click on the Cake Dome (2), collect the Knife (3), click on the Painting (4), note the time: 12:15 (5) and then click on the Clock (6). When complete, click on the Sideboard (7).
Use the Weight (green) on the Right Chain (1). Set the time by moving the Weights (2) from one chain to another to reveal the House Plans (3). The solution is: a – switch the middle and left weights, twice and then b – switch the right and middle weights, 3 times.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Axe (green)
Click forward to enter the Lady’s Parlor (1), click on the Shelves (2), collect the Oiler (3). Click on the Piano Leg, use the Axe (click 3 times), click on the Tapestry and then click on the Wall.
Note the Crowns (green) inside the outside circles and the Fleur de Lis (blue), in the center, where they overlap. Rotate the rings so the outside rings contain only Crowns and the center portion, where they overlap, contains only Fleur de Lis. Click to rotate clockwise; right click to rotate counter clockwise. The puzzle will begin with the spheres in a random configuration, each time you play, but the solution is always the same. When complete, click forward, on the right, to enter the Illusionist’s Room.

Click on the shelf (1), collect the Board (green), use the Glove (red) on the Lamp (2), collect the ladder (4) and then return to the Lady’s Parlor (click back once) and click on the Piano.
Click on the Shawl and the Keyboard Cover (white) to open them (may contain items; you may need to close Keyboard Cover for other items in list) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Lens (green). When complete, return to the Dining Room (click back once) and click on the Sideboard.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Twine (green). When complete, head Upstairs (click back once, upper right once. b – refer to the screenshot at the beginning of this section).
The Upstairs – Right Side
Use the Board in the Gap (1), use the Twine (red) on the Board and then click forward (2) to enter the Sitting Room.
Click on the Wall (1), use the Knife (green) on the Wallpaper (2 – click twice), collect the Key (3 – yellow), use the Key in the Lock (a), use the Oiler on the Lock (b), click on the Key and enter the Nursery.
Click on the crib skirt (click twice), use the Lamp and collect the Button Hook. click on the Dollhouse, use the Lens on the Table. Note the space between the first 2 numbers and the last – 62 7. Return to the Dining Room (click back twice, right once).
Click on the Safe (1) and enter the combination (2). Rotate the small dial to the 7 and then rotate the large dial to 62. It can be a little picky, even if it looks like the numbers are correct, so just nudge the dials a bit to get it to work. Collect the Sun (3) and then return to the Illusionist’s Room (click forward once, right once).
Click on the Top Hat (1), use the Button Hook (green) on the Loop (2), collect the Matches (3) and then click on the Table (4).
Click on the Shawl and Bandbox (white) to open them (may contain items) and collect all the items. Inventory Item: Solvent (green). When complete, return to the Lady’s Parlor (click back once) and click on the Piano.
Click on the Keyboard Cover (white) to open it (may contain items) and collect all the items. You may need to close the Keyboard Cover to collect other items. Inventory Item: Sponge Brush (green). When complete, return to the Nursery (click back twice, upper right once, right once).
Click on the Mobile (1) and use the Sun (green) in the center (2). Untangle the cords by clicking on one of the objects, move it to an open spot on the outer ring, or in the center, and click to place it (3). You can move the objects anywhere on the outer ring; as ling as all the cords are untangled, it doesn’t matter where you place them; there are several correct solutions. When complete, collect the Paintbrush (4). Return to the Sitting Room (click back once).

Use the Ladder (purple) in front of the Fireplace (1), click on the Drape (2)over the Painting, click on the Painting, use the Solvent (a – green) and then the Sponge Brush (b – red) on the Painting. Return to the Illusionist’s Room (click back once, right once, forward once, right once) and then click on the Table, again.
Collect all the items. Inventory Item: Paint (green). When complete, return to the Sitting Room (click back 3 times, upper right once) and click on the Painting.
Use the Paint (a – green) on the Mantle and the Paintbrush (b – red) in the Wineglass (1). Use the Paintbrush (c -yellow) on the Paint, use the Paintbrush (d – orange) on the Painting and then use the Matches (e – purple) on the Painting. Repeat a, b, c and d. Watch the ending movie.
