Cut The Rope: Blast is the latest game in the Cut The Rope series. This time round, though, there are no ropes to cut, which is sort of strange. Instead you’re matching colorful blocks to clear them from the screen and achieve your goals.

It’s going to be familiar to anyone who’s played a match-stuff puzzler in recent times, but the game does have a few of its own tricks up its sleeve. Which is why we thought it was a good idea to write this strategy guide.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re just starting out or you’ve already cleared a whole bunch of blocks – there’s going to be something here to help you out. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Cut The Rope: Blast.

What are you trying to do?

Always make sure you know what you’re aiming to do. This usually involves clearing certain items from the board and you can check on your progress in the top left of the screen. Know what you’re doing and you won’t waste your moves.

Match your special tiles

The special tiles are great, but they’re even better when you combine them together. Look for ways you can put them close enough to each other to use them together. It’s a great way to clear massive chunks of the board.

Collect your rewards

The game regularly gives you rewards and you’re not going to want to miss any of them. You can grab goodies every ten levels, and there are extra rewards when you’ve earned a set amount of stars. Keep an eye on the main menu and grab everything that you can.

Keep your crowns

One of the most important keys to succeeding in the game is making sure you’ve always got your crowns. You’ll lose them if you fail a level – it’s best to keep going by spending some coins if it looks like that’s the case. And it’s also why the next strategy is so important.

Save your boosts

You should save your boosts for when you really need them, since they can come in super handy when it looks like you’re going to fail a level. If there are moves you can make towards finishing, keep your boosts in reserve for when things get desperate.
