Haki is a technique that hones one’s ability to enhance and level up their strength, or observation depending on route. My Cursed Sea Haki guide helps you locate and know what each Haki is so you can become stronger!

There are tons of different techniques to learn within Cursed Sea. From Haki to Six Powers, Cursed Fruits, and so many more. It’s hard to keep up with what you need and what you don’t. Let me be the first to say that Haki’s a goated ability to equip since it derives straight from One Piece canon and is true to lore.

Thankfully, both Haki’s can be obtained from the same NPC and for the same price. The main challenge is deciding which one to get to amplify your gameplay. I’d recommend making this choice depending on if you want to increase your existing potency and build on an existing strength, or level out your stats and choose your Haki based on something you lacked prior.

Soul Master is the NPC who trains the ways of Haki to you. This NPC is located on Marine Base Island, which is the third island you’ll traverse. After interacting with him, you’ll have the option to purchase Buso Haki, or Ken Haki for 500k Beli each. Your new Haki will come with a quest to complete which helps you get the ropes on training your Haki.

  • Buso Haki Quest: Earn 1000 Points where an NPC kill is worth 1 Point, and a player kill is worth 100 Points.
  • Ken Haki Quest: Perform a Parry/Dodge 250 times.

Now, to help you decide which to train under, here is a quick rundown of both Haki’s

What Is Buso Haki?

Buso Haki is the art of combat. It enhances the user’s strength and defence making it well-equipped for difficult fights against other players and bosses. Whenever this Haki is active, it will generate EXP and level up through kills, earning more EXP from player kills than NPC kills.

What Is Ken Haki?

Ken Haki is more reserved and thrives on evading. This Haki allows players to be more nimble during combat to avoid heavy hits, performing perfect dodges and parries. Similar to Buso Haki, this Haki levels up significantly faster when versus other players than against NPCs.

It seems you've stumbled upon my bio! I'm Sho, your local weeb. Off the clock I am typically watching anime, reading manga, or doing art. I think it's safe to say that all my unpaid thoughts revolve around anime... That said, watch One Piece! (Or don't I'm just a biography.)
