Welcome to the Curse at Twilight: Thief of Souls walkthrough on Gamezebo. Curse at Twilight: Thief of Souls is a hidden object/adventure game played on the PC created by Amaranth Games. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide on how to complete Curse at Twilight: Thief of Souls.

How to Use this Walkthrough (Please read)

• This walkthrough is meant to be used as a guide to assist in solving mini-puzzles and acquiring all items in order to complete the game. You may explore locations in the order you wish, this walkthrough is written to take the most direct route to the game’s finish.
• Inventory objects will be written in bold. The walkthrough will state, “Use the inventory item on the blah blah,” because it assumes you have the item. If you don’t have the item, on your keyboard, press CTRL+F (at the same time). In the text box, type the name of the item you are looking for and press ENTER. This will scan this page for the appearance of that word.

Gameplay and Tips

• This is a hidden object adventure game. You will move from location to location solving hidden object hunts, mini-puzzles and picking up items to use in order to proceed in the game.
• There are two difficulty settings.
• Casual mode has a quicker filling Skip and Hint meter, plus active areas are indicated by sparkles.
• Hard mode has a longer filling Hint and Skip meters and active areas are not indicated by sparkles.
• Move your cursor over every aspect of a scene, especially if you are playing in Hard mode. It’s the only way to find everything.
• The Menu button at the bottom left of the screen will bring you back to the main screen.
• Items collected throughout the game go into your inventory, located at the bottom of your screen.
• Closing a window – To close the zoom-in windows, click anywhere outside of the window
• Mini-puzzles can be skipped once the Skip button fills. Click on the question mark in the top left corner to get instructions on how to solve the puzzle.
• Leaving a mini-puzzle and returning to it will reset. The game will usually ask you if you want to do that.
• Hint system – Hints are available in the bottom right of the screen. The hint sparkles aren’t very noticeable so pay attention.
• Hints used in the hidden object scenes will point out an object to be found.
• Hints used during the adventure mode will point out something to do in that room. It will not guide you as to where to go next.
• Hidden object hunts – There are several types of hidden object hunts in this game.
• List – Find the items on the list. Click on items in the scene to cross them off the list. Items listed in white require an action to be found. Once you have found all the hidden objects, an item is added to your inventory.
• Riddle – Find the item based on the clue at the bottom.
• Replace – Put items back into the scene.
• Naming convention – This walkthrough will use the names of areas and items as shown above the cursor.

Map and Gold Coins

• The map appears at the bottom left.
• Complete the map by finding coins in each scene. The amount of coins to find appears at the top of the scene. When you find all the required coins, that area is added to the map. This is beneficial later as it will allow you to jump (teleport) from area to area rather than walk back and forth.
• Coins will be highlighted by white circles.
• Although the game calls the coins “gold,” they often match their background colour (like chameleons).

Collector’s Edition Keys and Bonus Chapter

• Unlike most Collector’s Edition games, this game integrates the bonus areas into the game. Throughout the game, you will find gold, silver or bronze CE keys that will let you unlock an area and replay it.

Walkthrough

• Watch the intro video.
• When asked if you want help getting started, click Yes. The tutorial explains gameplay, cursors, moving around, etc.
• Click on the manor’s door. Click the X to close the window. Click on the gargoyle’s head. Click the X to close the window.
• Pick up the rock.

• Pick up the seven rock pieces.
• Click on the gargoyle’s head. Smash the eye with the rock. Take the plaque fragment.
• Click on the door. Add the plaque fragment.
• Click on the gas meter (beside the porch).
• Click on the instructions (bottom right) to learn how to turn on the power.
• Slide B3 and B4 to the top. Turn the dial on the left to 9 and the dial on the right to 4. Drag slider 1 to the left to turn the light red and drag slider 2 to the right to turn the light green. This is all according to the instructions.

• Pull the power lever.

• Find the four coins (see explanation of map above).
• Go right to the manor backyard.

• Find the four gold coins. Take the three note fragments. Click on the owl and pull the lever.

• Take the four lever fragments. Click on the switch on the tree. Add the lever, then pull it. Click on the tree hole to start a hidden object hunt. Use the key to unlock the cage to get the rabbit. Find all the objects. When you are done and the hat moves, take the owl fragment.
• Return to the manor front yard.

• Take the three note fragments. Take note of the owl’s colouring. Click on the door. Add the plaque fragment. A mini-puzzle starts. Recolour the owl to match the owl diagram. Click on the various areas to change the colour.
• When you are finished, turn the key and enter the grand room.

• Find the four gold coins.

• Click on the blue gem. Find the seven gem fragments to get the blue gem.
• Click on the dusty portrait (beside the stairs). Add the blue gem.

• Pick up the five canvas fragments. Click on the dusty portrait again. Add the canvas fragments. A mini-puzzle starts. Rearrange the pieces to recreate the painting. Click on two pieces to swap their positions. Click on a piece, then click on it again to rotate it.
• Solution:

• When you are finished, take the portrait key from the woman’s hand.
• Click on the door at the top of the stairs. Add the portrait key and turn it. Enter the hallway.

• Find the four gold coins. Click on the table. Take the wooden ring. Click on the top part of the door at the end of the hallway. Add the wooden ring. Enter the cell.

Secret Cavern

• Take the box of matches. From your inventory, take a match and while holding it, click on the box to light it. Light the torch.

• Find the two gold coins. Pick up the eight old nails and the copper coin.
• Click on the skeleton. Place the copper coin in its eye socket. Take the scroll. Take the note of the diagram. Click on the archway. A mini-puzzle starts. Click on the stones in the order shown on the scroll you just took from the skeleton. Hint: take a picture of the diagram using either a digital camera or a cellphone.
• When you have pressed the stones, pull the lever. Enter the secret cavern.

• Find the five gold coins. Click on the pickaxe.

• Pick up the eight pickaxe fragments to complete the pickaxe. Take the emerald.
• Return to the cell.

• Smash the two crates with the pickaxe and take the chain cutters from the left crate and the hammer from the right crate.
• Return to the manor backyard.

• Cut the chains with the chain cutters and take the wooden boards.
• Return to the secret cavern.

• Click on the bridge. Add the four wooden boards, then add the eight old nails, two per board. Finally, hammer each nail in.
• When the bridge is finished, turn the water valve.
• Pick up the bell from where the water fall was.

• Pick up the five bell pieces to form the bell.
• Click on the tunnel. Add the bell. A mini-puzzle starts. Use the riddle as a clue to solving the puzzle. Rearrange the bells so they line up in descending order (V-IV-III-II-I). Once the bells turn bronze, click on them in the order of a butterfly’s lifecycle.

• Click on the bells in the order show in the screenshot above.
• Enter the storeroom.

• Find the six gold coins. Click on the barrel.

• Pick up the eight barrel pieces to complete the barrel.
• Return to the manor front yard.

• Use the chisel on the chunk of ice and take the screwdriver.
• Return to the storeroom.

• Look inside the barrel. Take the cheese. Take the mousetrap. Move the sack of grain. Place the mousetrap and prop it open with the screwdriver. Add the cheese.
• When the mouse comes out, the screwdriver is returned to your inventory. Take the mouse.
• Click on the mouse hole to start a hidden object hunt.
• Find all the objects. When the cover lifts off the flacon, take the energy crystal.
• Click on the electric lock. Remove the four screws with the screwdriver. When the panel comes off, add the energy crystal. A mini-puzzle starts. Add the extra wires to create a continuous flow of electricity. The wires must all be the same colour, meaning use the blue wires to connect the blue wires, etc.
• Solution:

• Now you have to enter a combination. The combination consists of four numbers where each is multiplied by the next so it equals 90. One possible solution is 5x6x3x1.
• Enter the workshop.

• Put the mouse on the wheel, then pull the slight switch.

• Find the four gold coins. Take the silver CE key (blue circle). Click on the knife.

• Five the five knife pieces to complete the knife.
• Click on the rune box. A mini-puzzle starts. Place the tiles from the bottom onto the board to form groups of three to make the tiles disappear. Clear the board. You must use all the tiles to solve the puzzle.
• The solutions appear in the screenshots below.

• Place the tiles in the order indicated in the screenshot above.

• Place the tiles in the order indicated in the screenshot above (only the first one matters).

• When you are finished, take the photo fragment (1/5).

• Click on the key molds. A mini-puzzle starts. Rearrange the key molds. First reorder the molds with roman numerals so they run from I-V (left to right), then arrange the one word molds alphabetically (from left to right), then recreate the phrase, “From life’s begin through end, the key to happiness is love.”
• When the panel opens, take the key mold piece.
• Use the map to return to the cell.
• Click on the skeleton. Use the knife to take the two copper coins from its eye sockets.
• Use the map to return to the workshop.
• Click on the work table.

• Add the key mold piece, then click on it to stand it upright.
• Take a match from the box of matches and light it on the box, then use the lit match to light a fire under the cauldron. Add the two copper coins to the cauldron. Use the ladle to pour to copper into the mold.
• Click on the mold and take the copper key.
• Return to the storeroom.

• Click on the crystal jar. Put the copper key in the lock and turn it. Take the ring.
• Collector’s Edition only: Use the silver CE key to unlock the lock guarding the mouse hole. Click on the mouse hole to start a hidden object hunt.
• Find all the objects according to the riddle at the bottom. When you are finished, take the keystone (hover your cursor over the screen until you see the word keystone at the top of the screen). A shaped stone (1/6) is added to your inventory.
• Return to the cell.

• Give the ring to the sobbing ghost.
• Watch the cutscene.
• The ghost brings you back to the grand room.
• Click on the vase on the floor in front of the shelves.

• Pick up the six vase pieces to complete the vase.
• Click on the mantle.

• Add the vase and a photo fragment to the portrait.

• Click on the suit of armour. Take the wooden skull.
• Return to the hallway.

• Click on the door on the far left. Add the wooden skull. Go through the door to the pier.

Pirate’s Pier

• Find the three gold coins. Click on the scythe.

• Find the six scythe fragments to complete the scythe.
• Use the scythe on the long grass (right of archer). When the grass clears, take the symbol.
• Use the map to return to the secret cavern.

• Click on the skeleton. Place the symbol in the indentation on the skull. Take the arrow.
• Return to the pier.

• Put the arrow in the archer’s bow. Click on the locket from where it fell. Pick up the seven locket fragments to complete the locket.
• Click on the tower door. Add the locket. Click on the tower door.

• Take the hammer and the nails. Remove the barrel lid and take the chalk.
• Click on the archway. A mini-puzzle starts. Use the chalk to complete the drawings. You don’t have to recreate the image perfectly. If you draw something and it stays, you did it correctly. If you draw a line/shape and it disappears, keep trying. If you are having a hard time, try starting from the other side. I’m left handed but use my mouse with my right hand so I’m not too steady. I had a very hard time with the pumpkin’s mouth, I kept starting from the right side but when I started from the left side, I was able to draw it properly.
• Make sure to connect all lines.
• For the eyebrow above the eye, note there is a little chalk mark on the right. Connect the chalk line from the left to that mark.
• When you are finished, go through the archway to Hallow Hills.

• Find the four gold coins. Take the tourmaline. Click on the wood pile to start a hidden object hunt. Find all the objects. After you’ve found everything, the watering can moves. Take the battery it reveals.
• Click on the scarecrow. Add the battery and pull the lever three times to make the lever fill.
• Click on the flowers.

• Take the five pearls.
• Click on the tree house. Add the five pearls. A mini-puzzle starts. Place each pearl in its appropriate slot according to size. You can only place a pearl in its correct slot, if it is incorrect, it will either say the pearl is too big or too small.
• When you are finished, enter the tree house.

• Find the three gold coins. Take the silver CE key (blue circle). Click on the bottle on the mantle. Smash the bottle with the hammer and take the horn mouthpiece.
• Click on the picnic painting. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Find 10 bats. When you are finished, take the telescope lens.
• Click on the pumpkin painting. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Find 10 insects. When you are finished, take the telescope crank.
• Click on the rune box. A mini-puzzle starts. Complete this puzzle as you did with the previous one.
• Solutions (if there are numbers by the arrows, place the tiles according to the numbers; if there are no numbers, it doesn’t matter the order of placement):

• Return to the pier.
• Click on the tower door.

• Add the horn mouthpiece to the horn. Click on the horn.
• After a few seconds, a ghost ship will appear.

• Click on the ghost book (on the ground beside the ghost). Pick up the six ghost book fragments to complete the ghost book.
• Return to the tree house.

• Click on the bookshelf. Add the ghost book. Take the silver coin from the drawer.
• Return to the pier.
• Give the silver coin to the pirate ghost.
• Board the ghost ship.

• Click through the dialogue. Find the four gold coins. Talk to the pirate captain. Click through the dialogue. Take the lamp oil, mermaid statue and the unmarked star map. Click on the axe.

• Pick up the five pickaxe fragments to complete the axe.
• Return to the tree house.

• Click on the telescope. Add the telescope lens and the telescope crank. Click on the telescope. Add the unmarked star map. A mini-puzzle starts. Adjust the telescope to find the constellations. Adjust the longitude and latitude sliders according to the constellation at the lower right. Once you’ve located the constellation, click on the stars that make up the constellation. You don’t have to draw a line from star to star, just click on the stars in no particular order.
• You can only click on stars when the longitude and latitude sliders are correctly positioned.

• A marked star map is added to your inventory.
• Return to the hallway.

• Click on the table. Add the lamp oil to the lamp. Use the arrows to scroll through your inventory and take the a match from the box of matches. Strike the match against the box and light the lamp. Take the needle and thread when the pretty box opens.
• Return to the ghost ship.

• Use the needle and thread to repair the jolly roger. Click on the jolly roger. Pick up the seven jolly roger fragments to complete the jolly roger.
• Return to the manor backyard.

• Use the axe on the plank beside the tree. Click on the planks. Pick up the eight plank fragments to complete the planks.
• Return to the pier.

• Click on the damaged hull. Add the three planks. Place two nails on each plank, then hammer in the nails.
• Click on the bow. Add the mermaid statue. Click on the mast. Add the jolly roger.
• Board the ghost ship.
• Give the marked star map to the captain. Click through the dialogue. Pick up the pirate key he drops.

• Pick up the pirate key pieces to complete the pirate key.
• Click on the treasure chest. Put the pirate key in the lock and turn it. Take the wooden eye.
• Return to the tree house.

• Click on the mask. Add the wooden eye. Take the paintbrush that appears on the stand.
• Return to the ghost ship.
• Click on the painting.
• Add the paintbrush (click three times). Click on the note in the right corner. A mini-puzzle starts. Rearrange the paintings in the order mentioned in the note. Click on two paintings to swap their positions.
• Solution:

• Collector’s Edition only – Return to Hallow Hills. Click on the silver lock and unlock it with the silver CE key. Click on the wood pile to start a hidden object hunt. Find all the objects according to the riddle at the bottom. When you are finished, take the keystone (hover your cursor over the screen until you see the word keystone at the top of the screen). A shaped stone (2/6) is added to your inventory.
• Return to the grand room.
• Click on the mantle.
• Add the painting and the photo fragment.
• Click on the bookshelf (lower shelf). Take the wooden heart.
• Return to the hallway.

• Click on the door on the far right. Add the wooden heart. Enter the cottage front yard.

Woodland Cottage

• Find the four gold coins. Take the two peppercorns (2/10). Enter the cottage.

• Click through the dialogue. Find the three gold coins. Take the two peppercorns (4/10) and the wheat (1/2). Click on the cupboard.

• Take the empty bee smoker and the ruby. Click on the firewood.

• Pick up the five firewood fragments to complete the firewood.
• Click on the carafe.

• Pick up the seven carafe fragments to complete the carafe.
• Click on the fireplace. Add the firewood. Use the arrows to scroll through your inventory and take the a match from the box of matches. Strike the match against the box and light the firewood. Fill the empty bee smoker with smoke to get the full bee smoker.
• Return to the cottage front yard.

• Click on the beehive. Use the full bee smoker on the bees.
• Go to the cottage backyard.

• Click through the dialogue. Find the three gold coins. Take the three peppercorns (7/10). Click on the squash.

• Pick up the six squash fragments to complete the squash.
• Click on the rune box. A mini-puzzle starts. Complete this puzzle as you did with the previous one.
• Solutions (if there are numbers by the arrows, place the tiles according to the numbers; if there are no numbers, it doesn’t matter the order of placement):

• When you are finished, take the photo fragment.
• Return to the cottage front yard.

• Click on the cow. Add the carafe to get milk.
• Click on the reeds to reveal eggs. Click on the eggs.

• Pick up the six egg fragments to complete the egg.
• Return to the storeroom.

• Use the scythe on the bushel of wheat. Take the wheat (2/3).
• Return to the cottage.

• Click on the recipe book to learn the recipe to make biscuits. Click anywhere outside the window to close it.
• Click on the grinder. Add the wheat, then turn the crank. Take the flour.
• Click on the mixing area. To the bowl, add the flour, egg and milk. Stir with the spoon to make baking dough. Put the baking dough into the baking tin (do this four times).
• Take the biscuit dough and put it in the oven. When it’s done baking, take a biscuit.
• Return to the cottage backyard.
• Give a biscuit to the grandfather. Take the shovel he drops.

• Use the shovel on the pile of dirt. Click on the hole you dug. A mini-puzzle starts. Find the worm with no match.
• Solutions:

• Return to Hallow Hills.

• Use the shovel on the pile of dirt. Click on the hole you dug. Take the crowbar.
• Return to the cottage backyard.
• Use the crowbar to break into the shed. Enter the shed.

• Find the three gold coins. Take the three peppercorns (10/10). Open the toolbox. Click on the toolbox to start a hidden object hunt. Find all the objects. Put the glue on the puppet, then add the puppet arm. Take the puppet. After you have found all the objects, take the bucket.
• Click on the reel.

• Pick up the reel fragments to complete the reel.
• Click on the fishing rod parts. Add the reel and worm. A mini-puzzle starts. Put the fishing rod back together.

• Put the parts back together in the order shown in the screenshot above.
• Take the fishing rod.
• Return to the cottage front yard.

• Click on the stream. Add the fishing rod and take the trout.
• Put the bucket on the well. Turn the well handle, then take the bucket of water.
• Enter the cottage.

• If necessary, click on the recipe book for the recipe for soup. Click anywhere outside the window to close it.
• Click on the fireplace and pour the bucket of water into the cauldron. Click anywhere outside the window to close it.
• Click on the chopping board. Add the squash to the cutting board. Take the knife and chop the squash (four clicks), then take the chopped squash. Add the trout to the cutting board. Take the knife and chop the trout (four clicks), then take the chopped trout.
• Click on the fireplace. Add the peppercorns, chopped squash and the chopped trout to the cauldron.

• Use the arrows to scroll through your inventory and take the a match from the box of matches. Strike the match against the box and light the candles.
• Click through the dialogue. Take the silver CE key. Click on the scissors.

• Pick up the scissors fragments to complete the scissors.
• Return to the cottage front yard.
• Add the bucket to the well. Turn the well handle, then take the bucket of water.
• Return to the cottage backyard.
• Click on the bird bath. Fill it with the bucket of water. Wait for the bird to fly to the bird bath, then click on it again. Use the scissors to cut the string holding the key to the bird’s leg. When the bird flies away, click on the clock key.

• Pick up the eight clock key fragments to complete the clock key.
• Return to the shed.
• Click on the silver lock and unlock it with the silver CE key. Click on the toolbox to start a hidden object hunt. Take the objects from the bottom and place them in the scene. When you are finished, take the keystone (hover your cursor over the screen until you see the word keystone at the top of the screen). A shaped stone (3/6) is added to your inventory.
• Return to the cottage.
• Click on the clock. Put the clock key in the lock and turn the key. A mini-puzzle starts. Place the gears so when you pull the lever, they all rotate.

• When all the gears are rotating, the clouds move to reveal a bird. Click on the dog to startle the bird. When the bird flies away, take the bone from its nest and give it to the dog. When the dog lies down, press the red button.
• When the scene closes and you are returned to the cottage, take the clock.
• Return to the grand room.
• Click on the mantle.

• Add the clock and photo fragment.

• Click on the beast head. Take the magnifying glass.
• Return to the hallway.

• Click on the second door from the right. Add the magnifying glass. Enter the town square.

Scarecrow Alley

• Click through the dialogue. Find the four gold coins. Click on the woman’s body (Annie’s body). Take the note fragment (1/6) from her hand.

• Pick up the three note fragments (4/6). Click on the butcher’s window.

• Take the note fragment (5/6) and sapphire. Use the crowbar to smash the right side of the window and take the number 2. Smash the left side of the window with the crowbar and click on the apron. Take the post office key from the apron pocket.
• Click on the trash to start a hidden object hunt. Once you have found all the objects, take the note fragment (6/6).
• Click through the dialogue. The inspector gives you an office key.

• Take the number 5. Click on the investigator’s office. Put the office key in the lock and turn it. Enter the investigator’s office.

• Find the three gold coins. Take the number 9. Click on the ink remover.

• Find the eight ink remover fragments to complete the ink remover. Click on the writing table. Add the note fragments. A mini-puzzle starts. Reassemble the note.

• When you are finished, pour the ink remover into the well. Use the ink remover brush on the ink stain. When the number stamp is revealed, cut it with the scissors. The number 3 is added to your inventory.
• Return to the town square.
• Click on the post office boxes. Add numbers 2, 3, 5, and 9. A mini-puzzle starts. Rearrange the numbers so each row equals the number etched on the left.
• Solution:

• Unlock box #13 (bloody hand print) with the post office key and click on the junk mail.

• Take the blood stained rag.
• Click on the woman’s body.

• Use the scissors on the bloodstains to take the dress fragment.
• Return to the investigator’s office.

• ***Before you start the next puzzle, adjust the brightness of the game. Click Menu and click Options. Move the brightness slider all the way to the left to make the game dark.
• Click on the microscope. Add the dress fragment and blood soaked rag. Turn on the microscope’s light (button at the top). A mini-puzzle starts. Find the 20 identical symbols. Click on a symbol on one side, then click on its mate on the other side. Tip: If you can’t see the symbols, adjust the brightness of the game (from the Options menu, instructions are above) so the game is as dark as possible.

• Click through the dialogue.
• Return to the town square.

• Click on 27 Scarecrow Alley. Click on the door. Enter the butcher’s home.

• Find the three gold coins. Click on the urn. Smash it with the crowbar and take the lock piece. Open the drawer and take the can opener. Click on the unmended couch. Click on the stitches and take the lock piece.
• Click on the lock piece on the table.

• Pick up seven lock piece fragments to complete the lock piece.
• Use the map to return to the shed.

• Click on the can. Open the can with the can opener and take the lock piece.
• Click on the painting. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Find 15 eyes.
• When the painting falls, click on the wall safe.

• Add the four lock pieces (match the symbols) and pull the handle. A mini-puzzle starts. Arrange the symbols so each appears only once in each row and column. Some symbols cannot be moved. If you try clicking on them, the game will give you the puzzle’s instructions.
• Solution:

• When the safe opens, take the basement key.
• Click on the basement door. Put the basement key in the lock and turn the key.
• Enter the basement.

• Find the four gold coins. Click on the light switch.

• Click on the large box on the table. Click on the empty vial. After it breaks, take the glass shard.
• Use the glass shard on the canvas bag. Click on the bag after it falls and take the acid.
• Click on the hole. Use the acid on the iron bars, then press the green button.
• Click on the portrait that appears on the wall. A mini-puzzle starts. Rearrange the pieces to complete the portrait. Click on two pieces to swap their positions. A correctly placed piece locks and can’t be moved.
• Solution:

• Take the coffin key. Click on the locket.

• Pick up the seven locket fragments to complete the locket.
• Click on the coffin. Put the coffin key in the lock and turn it. Click on the hacksaw.

• Pick up the seven hacksaw fragments to complete the hacksaw.

• Use the hacksaw on the pipe. Click on the grate and use the screwdriver on the grate. Remove the grate.
• Click on the rune box. A mini-puzzle starts.
• Solutions:

• When you are finished, take the photo fragment.
• Climb up the grate into the town square.
• Give the locket to the inspector. Click through the dialogue.
• Click on the meat cleaver that is left on the ground near the lamppost.

• Pick up the eight meat cleaver fragments to complete the meat cleaver.
• Use the map to return to the pier.
• Click on the tower door.

• Use the acid to take the ring.
• Return to the butcher’s home.

• Click on the armoire. Add the ring to the bull’s nose.
• After it blows open, click on the armoire.

• Take the silver CE key. Put the meat cleaver in the knife block to make the jewelry box open. Click on the jewelry box and take the turnkey. Click anywhere outside the window to close it.

• Click on the snow globe. Add the turnkey. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Begin by turning on the lights on the house (A-F in screenshot above). Click on the lights until one stays on. Then click on another one. If they both turn off, click on the first light again and click on the other lights until two remain lit. Continue until they all stay on.
• Using the screenshot as a guide, in this order, press C-E-D-A-F-B.
• Wait for the man to appear, then click on the harp.
• When the clock appears, move (click and drag) the green button to above the combination.
• The clock shows 9:30. Adjust the combination to read 930 (top to bottom).

• Make the stars match the star map. Click on the squares to remove a star, add a star or make a star bigger. When you are finished, press the red button. Solution is in the screenshot above.
• The snow globe is added to your inventory.
• Return to the town square.
• Click on the silver lock and unlock it with the silver CE key. Click on the trash to start a hidden object hunt. Find all the objects according to the riddle at the bottom. When you are finished, take the keystone (hover your cursor over the screen until you see the word keystone at the top of the screen). A shaped stone (4/6) is added to your inventory.

• Click on the mantle. Add the snow globe and the photo fragment.

• Click on the ornamental grass. Take the wooden tear.
• Return to the hallway.

• Click on the second door from the left. Add the wooden tear. Enter the lost garden.

Lost Garden

• Find the three gold coins. Click on the garden gate.

• Pick up the six lock fragments to unlock the gate.
• Enter the graveyard.

• Find the three gold coins. Take the bronze CE key. Take a match from the box of matches, light it and use it on the icicle to get the topaz.
• Click on the gryphon.
• On the gryphon’s collar, from left to right in the following order, add: topaz, emerald, ruby, sapphire, tourmaline.
• Click on the crypt door. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Find 15 skulls.
• Click on the crypt door to start a hidden object hunt. Find all the objects. When you are finished, take the sun orb.
• Return to the lost garden.

• Click on the sun pedestal. Add the sun orb. A mini-puzzle starts. Arrange the rings so the seasons are in the smaller ring and numbers are in the larger ring and the ravens are facing the right direction. Click on the gems to adjust the rings around them and click on the sun orb (centre) to rotate the entire rings.

• To solve the puzzle, using the screenshot above as a guide, press: Y-Y-R-R-B-Y-Y-R-R-B-B.

• Fill the bucket at the waterfall to get the bucket of water. Enter the waterfall cavern.

• Find the four gold coins. Click on the sun diagram.

• Pick up the seven sun diagram fragments.
• Click on the pickaxe.

• Pick up the five pickaxe fragments to complete the pickaxe.

• Use the pickaxe on the stone wall. Take the sandstone from where it falls. Tip: if you keep getting the mortar and pestle, most your cursor more to the left.
• Click on the mortar and pestle. Add the sandstone and the bucket of water. Click on the pestle to grind it, then take the mud.
• Click on the brick molds. Add the mud to all six, then take the bricks (6/6).
• Click on the bridge. Add the bricks. Place the bricks to fix the bridge. Pick up a brick and place it. If it won’t fix, try somewhere else. Continue until all the bridges are placed.
• Click on the rune box. A mini-puzzle starts.
• Solutions:

• Take the photo fragment.
• CE version only – Click on the bronze lock. Add the bronze CE key and turn it. Click on the lookout. A mini-puzzle starts. Untangle the web. Move the pointers around so no web strand crosses another. When nothing is crossing a web strand, it turns bright green.
• Solutions:

• Climb the stairs to the lookout.

• Find the four gold coins. Click on the shears.

• Pick up the shears’ fragments to complete the shears.

• Use the shears at the base of the plant to remove the vines. Look in the pot and take the oil can. Use the shears on the roses to take a white rose.
• Note: If the shears don’t work, close the game completely and reopen it.
• Return to the waterfall cavern.

• Use the shears on the rose bush to take the blue rose.
• Return to the butcher’s home.

• Click on the armoire. Use the oil can on the rusty key, then take the glass key.
• Return to the lookout.

• Click on the glass coffin. Unlock the coffin with the glass key. Take the red rose.
• Return to the lost garden.

• Use the shears on the rose bush to take the yellow rose. Use the shears to clear the vines (4-5 clicks).
• Click on the cage. Add the blue rose, white rose, yellow rose and red rose to their matching slots. A mini-puzzle starts. Rotate the vines to create a continuous connection. Unfortunately I solved the puzzle before I could get a screenshot.
• When you are finished, click on the ruby heart on the statue.

• Pick up the eight ruby heart fragments to complete the ruby heart.
• Return to the waterfall cavern.

• Click on the statue. Add the ruby heart. When the hands open, take the apple seed.
• Return to the lost garden.

• Add the apple seed to the planter. Use the bucket on the waterfall to get a bucket of water. Use the bucket of water on the planter.
• Click on the apples.

• Pick up the six apple fragments to complete the apple.
• Return to the lookout.

• Click on the glass coffin. Add the apple. Click through the dialogue. Click on the glass coffin again. Take the silver CE key and the harp string.
• Click on the harp.

• Add the harp string. A mini-puzzle starts. Press the button on the raven and watch the harp strings play. Replay them in the same order. Click on the tops of the strings. When you’ve done it correctly, the bird statuette will break a little. Do this three times.
• When the bird statuette is completely broken (after three rounds), take the raven key.
• Return to the graveyard.

• Click on the bird cage. Unlock it with the raven key. When the bird flies away, click on the bird cage again. Take the thimble.
• Return to the lost garden.
• Talk to Dhalia. Click through the dialogue. Return to the waterfall cavern.

• Click on the statue. Use the thimble to take the tear. Return to the lost garden.

• Give the tear to the raven. Click through the dialogue. Take the raven feather that drops.
• Return to the graveyard.

• Click on the silver lock and unlock it with the silver CE key. Click on the toolbox to start a hidden object hunt. Take the objects from the bottom and place them in the scene. When you are finished, take the keystone (hover your cursor over the screen until you see the word keystone at the top of the screen). A shaped stone (5/6) is added to your inventory.
• Click on the iron planter. Add the raven feather. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Fix the clock (face and hands), then turn the winder. Add the train wheels to the train. To the furnace, add the coal and light it with a match. Replace the pipe and add the bolts. Place the valve handle and turn it. Press the red button to move the train, then add the light bulb.
• Move the red and blue lever to light the bulb.
• The rose is added to your inventory.
• Return to the grand room.

• Click on the mantle. Add the rose and the photo fragment.
• Take the silver CE key from the fireplace.
• Return to the manor backyard.

• Click on the silver lock. Unlock it with the silver CE lock. Click on the toolbox to start a hidden object hunt. Take the objects from the bottom and place them in the scene. When you are finished, take the keystone (hover your cursor over the screen until you see the word keystone at the top of the screen). A shaped stone (6/6) is added to your inventory.
• Click on the mural.
• Add the shaped stones (6/6). A mini-puzzle starts. Arrange the stones in the mural.
• Solution:

• Take the gold CE key.
• Click on the gold lock. Unlock it with the gold CE key. Enter the forgotten forest.

• Find the three gold coins. Click on the bog. A mini-puzzle starts. Read the riddle at the bottom and select the two silhouettes that match.

• Take the golden bug.
• Click on the forest gate. Cut away the vines with the shears (three clicks). When the vines are gone, add the golden bug into the indentation. A mini-puzzle starts. Slide the tiles to recreate the portrait.
• When you are finished, go through the gate to the mists.

• Find the four gold coins. Click on the two dragon statues and use the knife to take the sapphire eyes (2/2).
• Click on the firecracker.

• Pick up the seven firecracker fragments to complete the firecracker.
• Put the firecracker in the crack, then take the a match from the box of matches, light it, then light the firecracker.
• After the explosion, enter the treasure cave.

• Find the three gold coins. Click on the dragon horn.

• Pick up the seven dragon horn fragments to complete the dragon horn.
• Click on the dragon statue. Add the sapphires into the eye sockets, then add the dragon horn on its nose. When the force field is lifted, take the rabbit emblem.
• Click on the rabbit door. Add the rabbit emblem.
• Enter the enchanted garden.

• Find the three gold coins. Take the milkweed, bell pepper, buttercup, lady’s slippers (2/2) and the photograph. Use the scissors to take the maiden hair.
• Take the teapot from the table and pour it into the empty cup. Take the cup of tea.
• Click on the Chinese lantern.

• Find the five Chinese lantern fragments to complete the Chinese lantern.
• Click on the Indian paintbrush.

• Find the six Indian paintbrush fragments to complete the Indian paintbrush.
• Click on the fan fern.

• Find the six fan fern fragments to complete the fan fern.
• Click on the bell stand. Add the bell pepper. Click on the note tied to the stand. A mini-puzzle starts. Determine which bell is which note, then play the tune.

• Assuming the bells are labelled 1-5 from left to right (according to the screenshot above), click the bells in the following order: 1-2-4-2-3-5-3-4-5-4.
• Take the crown.
• Return to the forgotten forest.

• Put the crown on the frog. When the mouse runs away, click on the golden ball.

• Pick up the eight golden ball fragments to complete the golden ball.
• Click on the chrysalis. Add the golden ball to the indentation. Take the butterfly.
• Return to the treasure cave.

• Put the fan fern in the plant pot. Wait a few seconds for the fly to be blown into the spider web, then click on the spider web. A mini-puzzle starts. Untangle the webs.
• Solution:

• Take the fly.
• Return to the enchanted garden.

• Give the fly to the spider. When the spider leaves, take the egg.
• Click on the mouse house. In the indentations, add the egg, milkweed and buttercup. A mini-puzzle starts.

• Remove the pieces of cloth. When you are finished, take the treasure key.
• Return to the treasure cave.

• Click on the treasure chest. Unlock it with the treasure key.
• Click on the treasure chest to start a hidden object hunt.
• Find all the objects. Put the triangle emerald onto the pitcher’s emblem to get the emerald sun medallion. Take the crescent moon.
• Return to the grand room.

• Click on the violin case. Add the crescent moon and take the violin.
• Return to the enchanted garden.
• Click on the cave.
• Hang the Chinese lantern on the peg, then add the photograph, butterfly and paintbrush to the indentations.

• A mini-puzzle starts. Paint the picture. Dip the paintbrush into the butterfly palette and paint the picture according to the colours in the photograph.
• When you are done, replace the cup of tea, maiden hair, violin and lady’s slippers.
• Take the gauntlets of strength (1/2) that appear on the tray.
• Return to the treasure cave.

• Click on the treasure chest to start a hidden object hunt.
• Find all the objects according to the riddle at the bottom. Take the gauntlets of strength (2/2).
• Click on the scales. From the skull at the bottom of your screen, add the coins you’ve been collecting (three clicks) and take the anti-ice potion.
• Return to the forgotten forest.

• Click on the water basin. Add the anti-ice potion and take the pearl key.
• Return to the mists.

• Click on the locked gate. Unlock it with the pearl key. A mini-puzzle starts. Put the stones into the shape.
• Solution:

• Use gauntlets of strength (2/2) to take the sword of light.
• Return to the manor backyard.

• Click on the gravestones. Brush away the snow. Dig up the earth with the shovel and click on the coffin lid. Add the sword of light.

• Take the ring of light.
• Watch the cutscene.
• Return to the grand room.

• Use the ring of light on Grim. A mini-puzzle starts. Move the gems to their appropriate slot (match the symbols). The gems can move along the rails into an empty slot. They can also move around the ring. You cannot leave this puzzle and there is no reset button. You have likely moved some gems before visiting this walkthrough so a step-by-step solution is not possible.
