GENERAL TIPS

CSI: NY is timer-free, no need to worry about finishing up a puzzle in a short amount of time.
There is no penalty for random clicking in a scene.
If you get stuck and need a hint, click on the hint button on the lower left side. The hint will show you the location of one of the items on your list. Once you use a hint, you have to wait for it to replenish itself before you can use it again.
There are several mini games in CSI: NY. You can skip any 2 mini games per episode. Make sure that you save your skips for the puzzles that you have the most trouble with. Otherwise, you may get stuck in the game.
You don’t have to solve a puzzle right away. If a puzzle pops up in the middle of you doing something, you can get out of that section by clicking ‘SOLVE LATER". That will allow you to leave the puzzle and come back to it once you’re ready.
Certain parts of the scene will sparkle when you need to interact with it. Whenever you see something sparkle on the scene, click on it and see what happens. If it’s an item that needs something else to work, look in your inventory for something you can use.

INTERVIEWS AND INTERROGATIONS

Throughout the game you will find instances in which you need to click on underlined words that appear in the dialogue box below a person on the screen. You only need to click on the underlined words if they are relevant to the case.
You will know if an underlined word is relevant to a case when you see the "progress" bar increase. The "progress" bar is located in the lower left side of the screen, just above the "credibility" bar. If you click on too many incorrect choices, your credibility bar will decrease. Take your time, read the dialogue and make the right choices.If your credibility bar decreases, you will score lower points.
You can also increase the progress bar by giving the person you are interviewing items from the inventory bar at the bottom of the screen. Only items that are relevant to that person will increase the progress bar. Wrong choices will decrease the credibility bar. If the bar gets empty, you will have to start the interrogation process over.
To give an item from inventory to a person, you must drag the item to that person. You can can place it on any part of their body. Once you hand them an item, it will appear to the left side of the person. You may be asked to click on a particular part of the item on the screen. If you don’t click in the right spot, your points will decrease and you will not be allowed to move on.
For example, in some instances you will pick up a photograph. Click on the hands, face, arm etc. if it’s going to count. You cannot just click any part of the photo, it has to be a specific place.
You can only end the conversations once all the right questions have been asked and all the right items have been handed over. You will be able to exit once you see the "X" appear in the top right side of the dialogue box.

EPISODE ONE: DOWNWARD SPIRAL

PHOTO EVIDENCE

You need to find the evidence that has been scattered around the scene. The pictures of what you need to look for will slowly reveal itself at the bottom of the screen. Only the items that you need during the game will remain in the inventory bar.
Use the arrows on both sides of the inventory bars to scroll through all the items that you need to pick up.
Since the items always remain in the same place, the screenshot will show you the location of all the items.

TRACE THE BLOOD SAMPLE

Click on the blood that is next to the man’s head and you will get a closer view.
The cotton swab will automatically be on your cursor. Take the swab and outline the blood sample by dragging your cursor around it.Once you’ve covered it all, release the mouse.

TAKE PICTURES OF THE BODY

During this scene you will notice there’s a man on the floor. His chest will have some sparkly areas on them. Click on the chest to get a closer view.
Once you’re closer, your goal is to photograph his fingers, his face and the tattoo on his chest.
Make sure when you’re taking the pictures that the center of the camera is on the areas that are highlighted in yellow on the screenshot.
His picture will automatically go into inventory.

DETECTIVE DON FLACK

In this section you need to click on the underlined words in the dialogue box that is underneath the detective. Each time you click on one of the words a dialogue will occur between your character and the person that you’re interviewing.
Click on the word "Pj’s". Use the arrows on both sides to scroll through the dialogue.
Next, click on the words "quite a fall" and follow the same steps as before.
Click on the words "a jumper" and follow the dialogue.
Once you’re done with the dialogue you will be prompted to drag evidence from your inventory bar at the bottom of the screen to the the detective.
Once the picture appears on the top left side of the scene, you have to click on the part of the evidence that you want to ask about.
If you click on parts of the evidence that are not important, your credibility bar in the lower left side of the scene will decrease.
Drag the photo from inventory and place it on Detective Flack. The picture will appear in the top left side of your screen. Click on the victim’s hands.
Drag the bracelet to the detective and then click on the picture of the building. I didn’t have to click the blood sample over the detective since that evidence was not relevant at this time.
Once you’re done, you will receive a message that the interview is complete and that the progress bar is full. Click on the small "X" that is on the top right side of the dialogue box to exit.

LOBBY OF THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

Find all the items that are highlighted in the screenshot.
Grab the computer cables that are in the top left side of the scene, the cables will go into inventory. Place the cables on the computer on the desk in the back of the room. A mini game will appear.

ROWS AND COLUMNS ADD UP TO 15

In this mini game you have to swap the numbers around until each row and column add up to 15. There is more than one solution to this puzzle but here is one of them:
Top Row 8 – 3 – 4
Middle Row: 1 – 5 – 9
Bottom Row: 6 – 7 – 2

ALTERNATE SOLUTION

Top Row: 9 – 4 – 2
Middle Row: 1 – 8 – 6
bottom Row: 5 – 3 – 7
Once you complete the puzzle, a screen with a basketball theme will appear. Click on the "Facial recognition CD" that is at the bottom of the screen.

BILL TRAVERS

Click on the words "I thought we were stuck"
Click on the word "detective"
Click on the words "big this place". Once you choose this last option and scroll through the conversation a video surveillance system pops up on the screen. Finish the conversation.
Place the facial recognition CD onto Bill. Click on the CD again once it appears in the top left side.
Drag the victim’s photo that is in inventory and place it on Bill. Once the picture is up, click on the victim’s face.
Scroll through the rest of the conversation and then exit out of it. The facial recognition mini game will open automatically.

FACIAL RECOGNITION

You will be given a quick look of the person, try to remember as many features as you can.
Scroll through the options that are on the right side of the page, until you find the one you want to use. Drag the feature that you want onto the left side of the screen.
Once you think you have all the right features in place, click on "compare". If you’re right, you will be able to move on. If you’re wrong, you will have to try again.

MORGUE

There are several items that you will need to examine in this room. The 2 x – rays on the left side of the wall and the body on the table.
To get a closer view of the body, click on the part of the body that is close to the exposed arm.

FIND THE ABNORMALITIES

To get to this screen you have to click on the body that is on the table. Once you get a closer view you will need to use the magnifying glass and the UV light to search for abnormalities on the body.
Grab the UV light from inventory and place it on the left arm of the body. You will see a tattoo appear in that area, click on it.
Grab the magnifying glass from inventory and place it on his right leg. Also place it on the upper left and right side of the shoulders. All these areas are highlighted in the screenshot.

CRIME LAB

Click on the computer monitor that is on the lower left side and you will enter the matching game. Click on the monitor that is on the top right side and you will enter the tattoo mini game.

HOT POINTS TATTOOS – MATCH THE CARDS

In this scene you have to find two matching names. Once you find them, use your cursor to trace a line that connects both names. Be very careful when tracing a line because if you hit anything you will have to start over.
On the left side of the screen, click on the triangle that says "Hot points Tattoos". Drag a line all the way to the right side where it says "Hot Points Tattoos, New York, NY"

TEST THE NEEDLES IN THE GEL

Your goal is to use the needles that are in the scene and puncture the gel that is in the dishes. Each needle will leave a different impression in the gel.
Take the largest needle on the left and drag it over to one of the dishes. Make sure that your cursor is in the middle of the dish and then click your mouse.
After each needle has punctured the gel, drag the dish to the one that is marked "sample". Once your dish is on top of the sample dish, click on it. If they are an exact match, you will be able to move on from this section.
There are 4 dishes that you can use to test the needle. If you use all 4 dishes and did not find a match you will be able to start over. You can also click on "reset" if you want to start the experiment over.

TEST THE KNIVES IN THE GEL

Follow the same steps that you used with the needles. This time you will be using knives.
Grab the small silver scalpel that is on the lower right side of the screen. It will be the last one at the bottom. Insert it into one of the gel dishes. Then place that dish over the sample dish.
Scroll through the next conversations to move on to the next section.

HOT POINTS TATTOO PARLOR

Look for the items that come into focus at the bottom of the screen. They are all highlighted in the screenshot.
When you click on the piece of paper on the large board on the left, a mini game will appear.

MATCH TATTOOS

Click on the tattoo that is on the board on the left side of the scene. Your goal is to find the matching tattoos and eliminate them one by one until only 1 tattoo remains on the board.
When looking for matches pay attention to the images because they are mirror images of each other.
Click on one image and it will highlight, click on its matching pair and both pictures will be eliminated from the board. To de – select an image, just click on it again and make a different choice.

AMY YABLANS

Click on the words "extensive piece", follow the dialogues.
Click on the words "intense guy".
Grab the photo from inventory and place it on Amy. Once the photo is up, click on the face.
Take the bracelet from inventory and give it to Amy. When the bracelet is up on the page, click on the building that is on the bracelet. No need to give the tattoo to Amy.
Scroll through the next conversations and exit out of the dialogue box.

CRIME LAB

There are two monitors that you can click on in this scene,you can start with whichever one you prefer. Both monitors that you will use in this scene are on the right hand side.

MATCH THE NAMES

With your mouse cursor, connect the matching cards by tracing a line from one to the other. The line can only be in the green section of the scene, if it touches anything you will have to start over.
From the left side, draw a line on the card that says "C.Sandor, Ht:5’10" Wt:210". Make it connect to the card on the right that says: "C. Sandor 449 W. 14th St."

ADJUST THE HEIGHT AND VELOCITY

In this section you have to adjust the height and velocity in which the target landed on the ground after he fell off the building.
You can adjust the velocity bar on the top left side of the scene.
The height can be adjusted on the right side of the scene. Please look at the screenshot for a clearer view.
Adjust the height and velocity according to the screenshot. The velocity meter has to be placed all the way to right so the green bar is at the highest point.
The height bar must be just above top of the Empire State Building.
Once they are in place, click on the orange "TEST" button on the top left. The simulation will begin and the body will land on the target below.

CLAY’S APARTMENT

Find all the items that are highlighted in the screenshot. Once you find all the gears in the scene, click on the book that is on the table. The table is in the lower right side of the scene.

GEARS AND NOTEBOOK

Grab the gears that are on top of the scene and place them on the pegs that are at the bottom of the screen.
Once all the pegs are in the right place, they will begin turning.
A notebook will appear on the screen, click on it and it will fall open to "DAY 186." Click on the card that is sticking out of the top left side of the notebook.

81st FLOOR HALLWAY OF EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

Please pick up all the items that are shown in the screenshot.
When you click on the back window, it tells you the window is stuck and you need something to pry it open.
Pick up the crowbar that is on the floor, close to the elevator. Take the crowbar from inventory and place it on the window. Click on the window again to get a closer view.

WINDOW SILL/ BLOOD SAMPLE

Click on the blood that is in the center of the window sill and you will get a closer view. Take your mouse and trace it over the edges of the blood sample. Once you’re done, the pop – up window will close and the blood sample will go into inventory.

WINDOW SILL – FIND THE FINGERPRINT

Click on the window again and this time you will be prompted to find fingerprints. Dust the area until you see a red fingerprint appear. Once you see the fingerprint, use the tape to pick it up.
The fingerprint mark will disappear quickly. Just place the tape in the area that you saw the fingerprint and the tape will pick it up.

CRIME LAB

This time, there is only one lit monitor. Click on the small monitor that is in the lower right side of the scene.
You will see a large fingerprint on the left and 9 small ones on the right. You have to find the 3 matching fingerprint fragments and place them on the correct location of the large fingerprint.
Everyone may not have the fingerprints in the same exact location but they will always be the same pieces.
In the screenshot I numbered the fingerprints with numbers. Just match up the numbers and place them in the right spots.
Finish the conversations once you’ve reconstructed the fingerprint.

LINC SARK’S OFFICE

Pick up the items shown in the screenshot. Click on the cabinet that is in the back of the scene.

CABINET COMBINATION LOCK

In order to unlock this lock you have to place the items in the right positions. All the items in a row have to have something in common.
On each row you need a part of the body, the sports equipment that belongs with the part of the body. After that you need the ball that belongs to the sport and lastly, the playing field for that sport.
There’s only 1 correct answer for this puzzle.
Rows, from left to right:
First Row – Hand, baseball glove, baseball and baseball field.
Second Row – Foot, soccer shoe, soccer ball and soccer playing field.
Third Row – Head, football helmet, football and football field.
Once the cabinet opens, click on the million dollar bank transfer that is sticking out of the cabinet. It will go into inventory.

LINC SARK

When you click on the camera, Linc Sark reappears.
From the dialogue box, click on "going places"
Click on " Urban Climbing:
Press on the words "poster boy"
Click on the word "jealous"
Click on the words "out of sight".
Take the bank transfer that is in inventory and give it to Linc. Then click on the amount of the transfer.
Give him the bracelet from inventory and then click on the building that is on the bracelet.
Pick up the photo from inventory and place it on Linc. Click on the hands of the man in the photo.
Give the tattoo to Linc. The conversation is over, exit out of it.

CLUB NOIR

Please look at the screenshot for the location of all the items on the list.
Click on the light bulb that is on the back wall and a lizard finding mini game will appear.

FIND 14 LIZARDS

Use the UV light to search for all the lizards in the scene. As soon as one comes into focus, click on it. Find all 14 to win the game.

GUS AND STEPHEN VAN LARS

Once you find all the items in the room, you will be taken to a scene with Gus and Stephen Van Lars.
Click on the words "took a dive"
Click on the words "lick of sense"
Click on the words "Linc backed"
Grab the photo from inventory and hand it to them. Click on the face that is on the photo.
Hand them the tattoo.
Grab the bracelet and click on the building.
End all conversations.

MORGUE – ASSEMBLE THE BONE FRAGMENTS

Once you enter the morgue, click on the monitor that is on the top left side of the scene.
Assemble the bone fragments according to the screenshot above. There are actually 2 separate bones that you need to assemble. Once 2 correct pieces are matched up they will automatically lock in together.

CRIME LAB – SORT THE MOLECULES

Click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the scene.
In this scene you need to use the tweezers to grab the molecules in the middle and place them on the right spot on either side of the screen.
Once a right piece is selected it will disappear. If the wrong molecule is places, it will float back to the middle of the scene.
There’s only one molecule that will not fit into any of the boxes. It will remain in the middle until all the other pieces have been placed.

CRIME LAB – SMALL MONITOR ON THE LOWER RIGHT

From the left side of the screen select Coli’s Cuts. Then drag a line to Coli’s Cuts that is on the right side of the scene.

COLI’S CUTS

PIECE THE SHREDDED MEDICAL RECORDS BACK TOGETHER

Click on the gray container that is on the far right side of the scene. Piece the statement back together. Click on 2 pieces of paper and they will swap places.

DR EVAN COLI

Click on the words "records"
Click on the words "He may be gone"
Grab the photo from inventory and then click on the face.
Pick up Dr. Coil’s medical degree and hand it to him.
Give him the red torn fabric.
Pick up the x – ray showing bone spurs and hand it to him.
Hand him the cashier’s check and then click on the check again once it’s on the screen.
Hand him the shredded medical records and end all conversations.

INTERROGATION OF DR. EVAN COIL

Click on the words "wrong guy"
Click on the words "owed me"
Click on the words "business"
Pick up the vial of blood thinning medicine and hand it to the doctor.
Hand him the photo and then click on the hands in the photo.
Grab the victim’s files and hand it to the doctor. Click on the name "Clay Sandor" that is on the top right side of the file.
Pick up the instruction booklet for office security system. End all conversations.

LOBBY OF EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

Click on the sparkly laptop that is on the desk and you will be taken to the facial recognition software.
Please look at the screenshot for the face you need to identify. Make sure that you choose the lightest skin tone available.
Once you have the right facial features, click on "COMPARE".

CRIME LAB – DRAG THE MOLECULES TO THE MATCHING SLIDES

Click on the screen that is in the lower left side of the lab.
Drag the molecules from the center onto one of the slides on either side.
One molecule will not fit any of the slides, you will not be able to match it with anything.

LINC SARK’S OFFICE

Pick up the online auction paper that is in the lower left side of the scene.
Collect all the 8 red pieces that are scattered around the scene.A mini game will open up.

RECONSTRUCT THE WING

Collect all the missing pieces that are shown in the previous screenshot and a mini game will appear.
Drag the pieces onto each other until you can form what looks like a pair of angel wings.
Please look at the screenshot for a solution.

TURN THE KNOB AND MATCH THE PICTURES

From the Crime Lab, click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the scene.
Your goal in this level is to use the knobs that are at the bottom in order to rotate the rings of the picture on the right.
As you rotate the rings, the picture will become clearer.
Release your mouse when you think it’s in the right place. If the piece is correct, it will lock in automatically.
The telephone will start ringing, pick it up.

LINC SARC

Click on the words "losing my shirt"
Click on the words "seen him".
Hand him the security camera image that is in inventory.
Pick up the instruction booklet for office security system.
Grab Sark’s DNA sample and hand it to him.
Pick up the paraglider wings and hand it to Linc.
End all conversations.

EPISODE TWO: JUST DESSERTS

Find all the items that are highlighted in green on the screenshot.
Click on the victim that is on the floor. When you get a closer view, click on his wallet.

FINGERPRINTS AND TAPE

On the following items, you need to dust for fingerprints. Then place the tape where you found the fingerprint and the tape will pick it up.
Click on the door handle that is on the side of the freezer. There are 2 spots that you need to click on, look at the screenshot for those locations.
Click on the frying pan that is on the right side of the screen. You only need to dust for fingerprints and place the tape in one spot. The screenshot shows you the exact location.
Click on the dish that is on the lower right side of the ground. The screenshot shows you the exact location for the brush and the tape.

OLIVIA MORETTI

Click on the words "see that body"
Click on the name "Marcell"
Click on the words "last night"
Grab the wallet and hand it to Olivia. Once the wallet is on the page, click on the New York State drivers license that is on the left.
End all conversations at this point.

ROTATE TILES

Click on the tiles and they will rotate. When you right – click on a tile it will move counter – clockwise. When you left – click on a tile it will rotate clockwise.
Once all the pieces are in a row or column are in the right place, they will lock in together and light up.
Once the jewelry box is open, a ruby will be inside.

MARCELL AMICI

Click on the words "right now"
Click on the words "Last night"
Click on the word "Intolerable"

Hand the wallet to Marcell. Once the wallet is open, click on the PICTURE of the drivers license on the left.
Give him the jewelry box.
Give Marcell the wine glass and complete all conversations.

Click on the word "this"

Hand her the jewelry box and then click on the note inside.

FIND THE DIFFERENCE IN THE HEART

When you arrive in the crime lab, click on the picture of the heart that is on the left side of the monitor.

FIND THE DIFFERENCES IN THE KIDNEY

When you’re in the morgue, click on the picture of the kidney that is on the right side of the monitor.

CRIME LAB

Click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the screen. Click through the dialogue.
To access the molecule mini game, click on the monitor that is on the lower left side.
To access the fingerprints mini game, click on the monitor that is on the right side of the scene.

MOLECULE MINI-GAME

Grab the molecules that are in the center and place them in the matching slides that are on either side.One molecule will be left at the end of the game.
The telephone may start ringing at this point, pick it up and talk to Dr. Sid Hammerback

Find all the items that are highlighted in the screenshot. Click on the picture that is on the back wall and there will be a safe behind it. Click on the safe and you will get a closer view of the dial.
In order to unlock the code you must click turn the dials until the words
"GOLDEN FORK" appear.
Once the safe is open, click on the papers that are at the bottom of the safe.

ELOISE STANWICK – LOURDES – ROUND 2

Click on the words "security cameras". A Security CD will jump into your inventory box.
Hand her the receipt for the restaurant sign. Click through the rest of the dialogue.
Give her the bank records and then click on the DEPOSIT line that says $40,000. From the bottom, it is the third one up.
Finish up the conversations.

THE KINDLING DINING ROOM

ASSEMBLE THE PAPER

SEBASTIAN OSWALD

Click on the words "trends in cuisine"
Click on the words " where he was found dead"
Give him the bank records and then click on the DEPOSIT line that says $40,000. From the bottom, it is the third one up.
Grab the bloody napkin and hand it to him. Click through the dialogue.
Take the reservations list and hand it to him.
Give him the receipt for the restaurant sign. End the conversation.

INTERROGATION OF MARCELL AMICI

Click on the words "just at the mayor’s party"
Give him the damaged art.
Hand him the Gold Fork award, click through the dialogue.
Give him the bank records and then click on the DEPOSIT line that says $40,000. From the bottom, it is the third one up. Click through a lot of dialogue. You will be taken to a cut scene but be returned back your conversation with Marcell.
Hand him the glass of Chilean wine.
Give him the receipt for the restaurant sign.
Hand him the broken dish.

TUTTO DI AMICI OFICE

Look for the items highlighted in the screenshot.
Grab the printer paper that is on the lower left side. It is on the desk. Place the printer paper in the printer that is on the desk, next to the end of the brick wall.

SELECT PROPER SEQUENCE

Click on the computer monitor that is on the right side of the desk and a mini game will appear.
Your goal is to form the words "APPETIZER ENTREE DESSERT" by clicking on the correct set of numbers at one time.
Enter the letters in the following sequence:
APP

ZER
EN
TRE
ED
ESS
ERT
It will ask you at the end if you want to finish printing your documents. Click on the "yes" button that is on the top right side of the menu.
If you have not placed the printer paper on the printer, exit out of that screen. Place the printer paper on the printer. Go back to the monitor and click on the printer icon. Click "YES" to print.
Go back to the office and grab the paper out of the printer.

HOT DOG STAND

There are no special items to find in this scene but all the items on the list have been highlighted.

EZIO MORETTI

Click on the words "invested in Andrew’s restaurant"
Click on the words "Andrew’s untimely death"
Give him the bank records. Click on the $40,000 deposit that is third, starting from the bottom.
Hand him the receipt for restaurant sign. End the conversations.

CRIME LAB – LOOK FOR WORDS THAT MATCH THE SILHOUETTES – PART 1

Click on the large monitor that is on the top right side of the scene. Look at the brief surveillance camera video. Click through the dialogue.
Click on the monitor that is on the lower right side of the scene and you will enter another mini game.
Your goal is to find the names of the items that are in silhouette at the bottom of the screen in the main text that is on the monitor.
The correct words are:
MICROSCOPES
POTS
WHISKS
OYSTERS
You can look at the screenshot to see the exact location of these words.
If the phone starts ringing, pick it up.

CRIME LAB – LOOK FOR WORDS THAT MATCH THE SILHOUETTES – PART 2

Click on the monitor that is on the lower right side. Once again look for the words that describe the items in silhouette at the bottom of the screen.

THE KINDLING KITCHEN

All the items that you need for this scene have been highlighted.
Pick up the red fuel can that sits in the lower left side and it will go into inventory.
Grab the fuel can from inventory and place it on the torch that is in the back of the kitchen. The torch will be glowing and it will very small.
Once the torch has fuel, click on it and it will go into inventory. Place the torch on the locked cabinet on the island that is on the left side of the scene.
Once the cabinet is open, click on the antifreeze container and the apron.

CRIME LAB – MOLECULES

Drag the molecules from the center to the slides on either side.

Once you’re done with the molecules, click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the scene.

COMPARE FOOD STAINS ON THE APRON

From the Crime Lab, click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the scene.
Your goal in this level is to use the knobs that are underneath in order to rotate the rings of the picture on the right.
As you rotate the rings, the picture will become clearer. Release your mouse when you think it is in the right spot.

INTERROGATION OF SEBASTIAN OSWALD

Click on the words "an argument"
Grab the apron from inventory and place it on Sebastian. Once the apron is on the screen, click on the black patch of dirt that is on the left side.
Pick up the victim’s final review and place it on Sebastian. On the review, click on the words "Tutto Di Amici review"
Grab the apron again and hand it once more to Sebastian. This time click on the large red stain that is at the bottom of the apron.
End all conversations.

EPISODE THREE: OFF THE MARK

NIGHTMARE PETE’S MAIN STAGE

All the items are highlighted in the scene.
Click on the sword that is next to the body and you will have to trace the blood sample with the cotton swab.
Once the blood sample has been taken, you will have to dust for fingerprints with the brush. Once you find it, place the tape on the fingerprint.
The rope is in the lower right side. Pick it up and place it on the pulley that is on the top left side of the scene, the curtains will open.
Click on the posters that are on the wall and a mini game will open up.

PHOTOS OF THE BODY

Click on the body and you will have to take 2 photos.
You have to place the middle of the lens in just the right spots in order to take the pictures. If you look at the screenshot, the green circles represent where the middle of the lens should be.
You have to take a picture of her earrings and of the other side of her face.

OPEN THE LATCH ON THE CANDY BOX

Pick up the candy on the front seat that is on the right side of the theater.
In order to open the box, the latches must be clicked on in the correct order. You can look at the screenshot or you can read below for the correct sequence.
From left to right, the latches are numbered 1 through 4
1 – Click on the last latch first.
2 – Click on the third latch next.
3 – Click on the second latch last.

VIRGINIA DENTATA

Click on the word "audience".
Grab the photos (8) and hand them to Virginia.
Give her the photo of the victim’s clothes and then click on the earring.
Hand her the poster fragment and then click on the word "Fire Eater".
Give Virginia the plywood panel, exit out of the conversation.

ARCHIE FOX

Give Archie the candy box.
Hand him the poster fragment and then click on the word "Fire Eater".
Grab the photos (8) and hand them to Archie.
Exit out of the conversation.

MORGUE – EXAMINE THE BODY

Once you enter the morgue, click on the body.
Take the magnifying glass and place it on her neck, where you see the mark. Click on that mark.

Place the molecules on the correct slide. In this case, 3 molecules will not fit into any of the slides.

Give her the photo of the victim’s clothes and then click on the earring.

Give her the crime scene photo. Click on the shovel that is on the lower left side of the stage.
Exit out of the conversation.

BACK ALLEY

OPEN THE LOCK

Click on the dumpster that is in the back of the scene and you will get a closer look at the lock. In order to open the lock, you have to click on the numbers in sequential order. It doesn’t matter which color you click as long as the numbers are in order.
Click them in the following order: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10,J, Q, K, A.

OBTAIN THE SHOVEL

Once the dumpster is open, click on the pizza box and the tire. The shovel will be underneath, click on the shovel to get it.
Once you click on the shovel, you will have to dust it for fingerprints. The fingerprint location is shown in the screenshot.
Drag our mouse across the outline of the sample that is on the shovel.

CRIME LAB – MOLECULE SAMPLE

Click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the scene and you will open the molecule mini game.
Place the molecules on the correct slides. In this case, 1 molecule will not fit into any of the slides. This molecule is pictures in the center of the screenshot.

FIND THE CORRESPONDING WORDS

In this section, you will have to find the right words that belong to the silhouettes 3 times in order to win the game.
In the first set of words, you need to find the words: blade and mind.
The words you need to look for are: flame, Ferris Wheel and tickets.
Click on the "back" button that is on the top left side of the page to see the rest of the text.

FERRIS WHEEL AT CONEY ISLAND BOARDWALK

Click on the words "third wheel" and you will be taken to a cut scene for a few seconds.
Click on the words "outlast Virginia".

Give him the poster fragment piece and then click through the dialogue.

CRIME LAB – DRAW A LINE

Click on the monitor that is on the top right side of the scene.
Draw a line from the Classic Stonecutters on the right to the one of the left.

CONSTRUCTION SITE OF FANTASTICA AMUSEMENT PARK

Find all the items on the list. The spade is in the middle of the ground.
Grab the spade from inventory and place it over the sparkly handle on the left side of the scene, next to the ladder.
The spade will merge with the handle and a shovel will go into your inventory.
Grab the shovel and place it on the mound of dirt that is on the lower left side of the scene.
A woman will be buried underneath, click on her so you can get some photos.

TAKE THE PHOTO

Once you have a close – up view of the body. Click on her face and then on the white tag that is in the back of her dress.
The lens of the camera should be in the center of the green circles that are shown in the screenshot.

LUCAS TRENTON

Give him the box of candy from inventory.
Drop the limestone on him and exit the conversation.

Click on the monitor that is in the lower left side of the lab.

Give him the candy container that is in inventory.

CONNECT THE WIRES

Click on the blueprint that is on the left side of the wall. In order to rotate the tiles, simply click on them. All the wires must be connected. When they are placed correctly, all the wires will light up.

CRIME LAB – DRAG THE SLIDERS

Click on the monitor that is on the top left side of the lab.
In this mini game you have to adjust the picture on the right to be in the same position as the one on the left. The way you accomplish that is by moving the buttons at the bottom.
Keep in mind that the picture on the left has the window blocking it.
Please look at the screenshot for each location of the knobs.
The one on top should be ALMOST all the way to the right side.
The one in the middle needs to be all the way to the left.
The last button needs to be on notch number 12, if you’re counting from left to right.

BETH’S BEDROOM. RED BRICK CONDOS

Click on the teddy bear sheets to open a mini game.
Click on the victim that is on the desk. Once you get closer, click on the friendship bracelet that is on her arm.

BED SHEETS

Click on the teddy bear sheets that are on the bed and a mini game will open up.
Use the UV light to look for abnormalities on the sheet. The screenshot has been highlighted in red with all the right spots.

CRIME LAB – DETERMINE SHOOTER’S POSITION

Click on the monitor that is on the lower right side.

Place the man on the first square of the the top left side.
Set the gun position to "LOW". You can set the position in the top right side of the scene.
Click on the orange "TEST" button that is on the lower right side of the scene.

Pick up the key that is on the lower left side, next to the window. Place it on the file cabinet that is on the top right side. Once the file cabinet is open, click on the piece of paper that is inside.
Click on the papers that are on the lower left side of the ground and a mini game will appear.

SWAP PAPERS

Your goal is to reconstruct the paper by swapping the pieces around. Click on 2 pieces of paper and they will swap positions. Once a piece is in the right place it will lock in and light up.

Hand headmaster Jennings the fire escape plans. Click through the dialogue and watch a cut scene.

Click on the monitor that is on the top left side.

Click on the monitor that is on the lower left side.
This mini game works basically the same way as the fingerprint mini game. Drag the pieces that you think match onto the left side of the screen, where the big bullet is.

CRIME LAB – MATCH THE TREAD FRAGMENTS

Click on the monitor that is on the lower left side of the scene.
Pick up the tread pieces on the right which match the tread pieces on the left of the scene.
As you pick each piece up, it will become elongated, place it in the place which you think is right. If the piece is correct, it will lock into place.
The screenshot shows you the items that you need to pick up and where they go. The pieces on the right may not be in the same location for everyone but the pieces will always be the same.
