The red gates are the ones that are going to cost you money, so you want to avoid passing money through them wherever possible. The more times you pass through green gates, the more money you’re going to have to spend at the end of the level.
It’s important to start passing as soon as you’ve moved through the previous gate. Especially when your stack is massive – you just don’t have the time to react if you wait too long. Keep an eye on what’s coming up and make sure your cash is in the right hands when you get there.
When you drop your money into a bank gate, it’s protected until the end of the level. That’s good news, for the most part, but it also means you can’t multiply the cash to earn more. If you’ve got a huge stack, it might be best to put some away to make sure it’s secure.
Don’t always spend all of your money on your home at the end of a level. Sometimes you should save it to spend on the upgrades you can unlock at the start of the levels. These will increase the cash you earn, and put you in a better position to spend even more the next time round.
