We’ve all dreamed of having a white Christmas, only to wake up and look outside at a normal sunny day. Well, in Clean Road all of our snowy dreams have come true. In fact, there is a serious problem with snow in this town and it’s up to you to clear a path for the trapped civilians.

Plough truck simulator 19

You may have already guessed what gameplay is about from my fabulous description, but there is more to it then clearing the road. There are civilians trapped in their driveways with no hope of making it into work today. It’s up to you to clear a path for these cars all while avoiding the debris littered all over the place.

You can move some of this debris with a little persuasion and ingenuity. Other types of debris are there just to slow you down and cause a pile up behind you. You fail the level if the stream of cars behind you catch up and crash into your plough. You would have thought these drivers would be a little more patient, but they are desperate to go to work.

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

  • Hit one obstacle. There are many situations where one or more items are blocking your path. To clear a path through this debris, target one item only. If you hit two items, then you are trying to push double the weight. If you hit one item at the edge, then you can move it easily out of your way.
  • Zig and zag. In Clean Road, you often forget how agile and nimble your snow plough is. You can lunge sideways at incredible speed, allowing you to clear driveways you think you are about to miss.
  • Props can clear driveways too. There are situations where props have been placed in front of a driveway to make your life difficult. Don’t worry, if you hit a prop into the snow pile in front of the driveway, it will clear it.
  • Upgrade often. I haven’t really noticed much difference between any of the ploughs so far, but it is entertaining. Having different coloured cars gives you something to do and should help your viewing pleasure. However, it comes at a price as you will often have to watch an advert after watching this advert to upgrade your car.
  • Take the path of least resistance. This is something you should do automatically, but there is a clear and obvious path in each level. This path is around the thickness of your plough and will often weave in between debris. Follow it and you should pass every level on your first try.
  • Don’t worry about coins. Every time you free a vehicle and get it to the end of the level you are awarded coins. There is nothing to spend coins on so I wouldn’t even worry about it. Collecting them gives you something to do but I wouldn’t fail a level for it.
