Ever wondered who were the little troopers carrying out your battle plans? If you have, then you’ve come to the right place. Here, we’ve created a Clash Of Clans characters guide, listing the different types of characters, and what they mean, as well as naming the individuals.
Clash of Clans is a free to play strategy game. The game released in 2012, but it’s still very popular today, and has since spawned a whole franchise of spin-offs, such as Clash Royale. In the game, you’ll build up your own village. With your own army, you’ll embark on raiding other villages, as well as goblin camps.

We’ll now dive into the guide at hand.
Normal Troops are exactly what you would imagine – they’re the most common kind of soldier you can deploy, and they’re trained at the Barracks. The most recent addition to the Normal Troops is the Electro Titan.
Here’s a list of all the current normal troops in the game…
Dark Troops are your typical step-up from Normal Troops. They’re trained in the Dark Barracks, and they take up a little bit more army space, too.
OK, now we’re entering some interesting territory. The Super Troops are cool because they’ve got special abilities that can be activated during a raid through Dark Elixir. You’ll unlock Super Troops when you hit Town Hall level 11. The most recent addition to the Super Troops is the Super Miner.
Heroes are the best characters in the game, and given that they’re immortal, they’re long lasting. Fantastic value! Just make sure their HP is back up to full before trying to deploy them and you’ll be good to go. There’s only four Heroes in the game, which goes to show how special they are.
Builder Base Troops are exclusive to the Builder Base Barracks. Here’s a complete list of them!
