Welcome to the Gamezebo walkthrough for City Style.

Can you conquer the challenges of the fashion industry and find your City Style?

GENERAL GAMEPLAY

• The majority of this game is hidden object games.  There are also quite a variety of other game types such as find the differences, memory matching, similar item matching, strategic moving of objects and various other forms of mini-games.

• There are 20 Stages in the game and each Stage contains between 3 to 5 Tasks. There are approximately 1500 hidden objects or objects to match in this game. 

• In each level you are assigned Tasks.  You can read what your Task is as you start the Task and you can also get a reminder by pressing the pink Task Button that is in the upper right of your screen. 

• In the upper left of your screen is a colored note pad that shows the number of items that you have left to find in each Task. There are generally one, two or three note pads with the number of items to find in a scene.  Each note pad will be a different color.

• Hints are unlimited but take some time to recharge.  Hints can be used in the hidden object games to locate items and in the mini-games to give you a nudge toward the solution.

• There are several hidden object game styles.  One is the conventional list of the names of objects to find in the scene.  Another style is a panel that shows the silhouettes or pencil drawings of items to find in the scene. Another style is to find a number of related items, such as 20 shoes.

• If a down arrow is at the bottom of a hidden object list that means that there are more items to be found.  More items to find will scroll into view as the existing items are found. 

• If you exit the game and you have not completed a Stage you will have to begin the Stage again when you start the game again.

• If you are in a mini-game that is not a hidden object game you can restart that mini-game by choosing Menu and Restart the Level.  This will restart the mini-game and will not take you all the way back to the beginning of the Stage.  For example, if you make a mistake in the mini-game moving the furniture, you can restart that mini-game without having to go back and replay the earlier levels in that Stage.  However if you exit the game rather than choose Restart Level, you will have to begin the whole Stage again.

• The mini-games all have the SKIP option, so you don’t have to worry about getting stuck in the mini-games.

WALKTHROUGH

Stage 1: Editor-in-Chief’s Lobby 13:00

Task 1-1 Find the reports

• Help find 14 white paper reports scattered around the lobby.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the reports.

Task 1-2 Find the CDs

• Now look for some music and find 16 CDs of various colors scattered around the lobby.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the CDs.

Task 1-3 Box the CDs

• Now that you have found the CDs you can put them back in their matching cases.
• 4 CD cases will be shown in the upper left corner. Click on a CD from the pile in the lower right corner and drag and drop it on the matching case.  If the match is correct the CD and case will disappear.  When the 4 are matched, another 4 will appear until you have matched all 16 CDs and cases.
• Please refer to the screen shots to see the correct matches for the CDs and cases.

Task 1-4 Find the coffee related items

• Now let’s find the 16 items that we need to make some coffee.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the coffee items.

Task 1-5 Move the boxes

• Now for some heavy work. We have to get these 6 boxes of mail to the sorting room.
• Click an empty space and you will walk around to that space.
• The dark blue areas are spaces that are filled or are walls and you can’t walk through them. 
• When you are in position click on a box to push it one space at a time. Keep clicking the boxes and walking around each box in order to maneuver them into the lower left corner.
• You can only push and not pull, so watch out and don’t get stuck in a corner, against a wall or behind an obstacle.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see one possible way to move and arrange the boxes into the proper place. 

Stage 2: Dressing Room 14:00

Task 2-1 Collect the purses

• Let’s find 22 purses in the dressing room.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the purses.

Task 2-2 Collect the scarves and shawls

• Now we need scarves and shawls.
• Let’s find 17 in the dressing room.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the scarves and shawls.

Task 2-3 Collect the matching items

• Gina’s purse has been dropped and we should help repack it.
• Let’s find 20 matching items from her purse.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the matching items by number.

Task 2-4 Select apparel

• Ok let’s pick out some things and see how they look.
• Find the 14 items that are in silhouette on the left.  More silhouettes will scroll up from the bottom as you find items.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the location of the items.

Task 2-5 Collect all of the boots

• Find the 20 pairs of boots.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the location of the boots.

Stage 3: Editor-in-Chief’s Office 16:00

Task 3-1 Sort the apparel by style

• The editor has asked us to sort this apparel by style.
• There are 3 sets of apparel for a total of 20 items.
• Please refer to the screen shots to see the locations of the items.

Task 3-2 Sort the mail by envelopes, packets, packages and magazines

• Find the 20 items of mail in her office.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the items.

Task 3-3 Clean out the unnecessary stuff

• Find the 21 items of unnecessary stuff on the list.
• Please refer to the screen shot to see the locations of the items.

Task 3-4 Create the magazine cover by rearranging its elements

• Click and drag the magazine cover elements that are on the right and left onto the center section of the screen.  Each piece will lock in when it is in the correct place.

Stage 4: Grocery Store 09:00

Task 4-1 Buy coffee

• Time for morning coffee. Find 19 coffee cans in the grocery store.
• Please look at the screen shot to see the locations of the items in the scene.

Task 4-2 Buy breakfast food

• We’ll need food too. Find 19 breakfast foods that are in the pencil drawn item list.
• You will only see 4 items at a time on the list. Additional items will scroll up from the bottom of the list as you find and eliminate items from the list.

Task 4-3 Buy boxes of sweets

• Collect 18 boxes of sweets in the grocery store.
• Please look at the screen shot to see the locations of the items in the scene.

Task 4-4 Choose the models

• Choose 17 male and female models suitable for the magazine that are in the picture.
• Only pick people in normal clothing. People in costumes are not suitable for the magazine.

Stage 5: Editor-in-Chief’s Lobby 10:00

Task 5-1 Lay a table for breakfast

• Find 25 items that are used to lay a table for breakfast.
• There are 3 lists with a total of 25 items.

Task 5-2 Clean the lobby

• What a mess.  Find the 18 items that are shown in silhouette in the item list.
• You will only see 4 items at a time on the list. Additional items will scroll up from the bottom of the list as you find and eliminate items from the list.

Task 5-3 Find the magazines

• Find 18 magazines that are scattered in the lobby.

Task 5-4 Sort photos by zodiac sign

• This is a typical find the two that are the same memory game. Flip the photos to see a zodiac sign on the back.  Find the matching zodiac sign and click the two matching signs in sequence. As matched pairs are found they disappear from the scene.

Task 5-5 Find the differences between the two magazines

• Find 21 differences between the two magazine pages.
• Click on the items that are on one page and not the other page.  In this find the differences game, clicking on an empty space will not remove the item from the opposite page, you must click on actual items.

Stage 6: Relaxation Room 13:0

Task 6-1 Find the butterflies

• Oh no, they have escaped.  Find 26 butterflies in the relaxation room.
• Please look at the screen shot to see the locations of the butterflies in the scene.

Task 6-2 Find the toys

• Find 18 toys in the relaxation room.
• Please look at the screen shot to see the locations of the toys in the scene.

Task 6-3 Find the gift boxes and gift bags

• Find the 18 gift boxes and gift bags in the relaxation room.

• Please look at the screen shot to see the locations of the gift boxes and gift bags in the scene.

Task 6-4 Find the fish with vertical stripes

• Find and click on the 14 fish that have vertical stripes.
• They are on the move, so you will have to keep your eyes peeled.
• Some fish will sometimes hide behind rocks and seaweed and you will have to wait for them to appear in order to click on them.
• There are only 4 kinds of fish that are the vertical striped fish that you can choose.
• Please look at the screen shot to see the correct 4 kinds of fish.

Task 6-5 Sort the guest cards

• This is a typical find the two that are the same memory game.  Flip the guest cards to see their hotels on the back.  Find the matching hotels and click the two matching hotels in sequence. As matched pairs are found they disappear from the scene.

Stage 7: Editor-in-Chief’s House 19:00

Task 7-1 Help move the furniture

• Now for some more heavy work. We have to get this furniture to the places indicated by the dotted line outlines.
• Click an empty space and you will walk around to that space.
• The dark blue areas are spaces that are filled or are walls and you can’t walk through them. 
• When you are in position click on a furniture piece or plant to push it one space at a time.  Keep clicking the furniture and plants and walking around each piece in order to maneuver them into place.
• You can only push and not pull, so watch out and don’t get stuck in a corner, against a wall or behind an obstacle.
• Some of the pieces have to be moved aside then moved to their proper place after other pieces are put in place. 
• Please refer to the number order of the moves in the screen shot to see one possible way to move and arrange the furniture into the proper places. 

Task 7-2 Clean up Angela’s cabinet

• Another mess, oh my! Find the 22 items that are shown in silhouette in the item list.
• You will only see 4 items at a time on the list. Additional items will scroll up from the bottom of the list as you find and eliminate items from the list.

Task 7-3 Find Feng Shui items

• What a good idea. Find 23 Feng Shui items.
• There are 3 lists with a total of 23 items.

Task 7-4 Check the cabinet before and after tidying

• Find 18 differences between the two scenes.
• Click on the items that are in one scene and not the other scene.

Stage 8: Atelier 09:00

Task 8-1 Find the negatives

• Find the 15 negatives on rolls of film and film slides.

• Please look at the screen shots to see the locations of the film negatives in the scenes.

Task 8-2 Match negatives and photos

• Match 32 negatives to their final pictures to complete this task. The photos appear in sets of four.
• Click on a negative and drag it onto its matching photo.
• The matching pairs will disappear from the screen.

Task 8-3 Find photography items

• Find the 17 photography items that are shown in silhouette in the item list.
• You will only see 4 items at a time on the list. Additional items will scroll up from the bottom of the list as you find and eliminate items from the list.

Task 8-4 Find the lenses

• Wow I’m learning a lot. Let’s find the 18 lenses in the scene.

Stage 9: Catwalk 10:00

Task 9-1 Remove differences between the back stage areas

• How confusing. Find the 20 differences between two back stage scenes.

Task 9-2 Gather the dogs

• Find the 18 dogs in the scene. Where is the Dog Whisperer when you need him?

Task 9-3 Divide dogs by breed

• Find dogs by the type, or breed, of dog.
• Find seven lap-dogs
• Find six Chihuahuas
• Find six Yorkshire Terriers
• Find four Chinese crested dogs.

Task 9-4 Arrange the furniture for the guests

Stage 10: Boutique 09:00

Task 10-1 Get clothing Angela ordered

• Find 20 articles of clothing in the scene.
• There are 3 lists with a total of 20 items.

Task 10-2 Find the shoes from the list

• Find 18 shoes in the scene.
• There are 3 lists with a total of 18 shoes.

Task 10-3 Repair the broken jewelry

• Oh dear, where are my jewelry tools. Match the 16 pieces of jewelry on the right with the 16 pieces on the left that are falling out of the bag. The pieces will come out of the bag 4 at a time.
• Drag jewelry from the right side onto the matching pieces on the left to match them.

Stage 11: Dressing Room 11:00

Task 11-1 Gather the damaged shoes

• Another disaster.  Find 18 shoes or boots in the scene that are shown as photos in the item list.
• You will only see 4 items at a time on the list. Additional items will scroll up from the bottom of the list as you find and eliminate items from the list.

• Each piece will not lock in place when it is correct. When all the pieces are in place the magazine cover will go back together and the picture will not have any torn edges.

Stage 18: Relaxation Room 18:00

Task 18-2 Catch the fish

• Here fishie, fishie. Click on 30 fish in the tank.
• They will move around the tank and swim out of the scene and back on again.
• Sometimes you may have to wait for the fish to come back on the screen.
• Some fish are hiding behind rocks and seaweed and you can only see a small movement to detect them.

• Find 25 magazines.

Stage 19: Editor-in-Chief’s House 19:00

Task 19-1 Cleanup the office

• Human treachery again!  We must cleanup this mess. Find 21 objects that are the same shapes as the silhouettes in the item list.

• Find the 30 torn pages of the magazine mock up.

Task 19-3 Assemble the pieces of the mock up cover

• I think I’ve done this a few times before. Assemble the pieces of the mock-up cover by dragging them to their proper spots.
• If a piece is in the correct place, it will lock in place.

Stage 20: Atelier 20:00

Task 20-1 Help Mark edit the mock up

• Assemble the pieces of the mock up cover by clicking on each piece to rotate it.
• Each piece will not lock in place when it is correct. When all the pieces are in place the mock up will go back together and the picture will not have any torn edges.
