Castaway Paradise is a town-building game from Stolen Couch Games. In this game, you wash up on a desert island populated by weird animal critters, and immediately set out to beautify your new home. Gamezebo’s Castaway Paradise Tips, Cheats and Strategies will help you transform your island into a real paradise.

Castaway Paradise Tips Cheats Strategies
  • Plant fruit before rushing to sell it – You’ll occasionally find fruit lying around in Castaway Paradise. It can be sold to Polly or Samir for decent cash, but don’t be in a rush to get rid of that delicious apple or banana. Plant it instead. Planted fruit eventually grows into trees, which keep on supplying fruit as long as they’re watered. With time and patience, you’ll have a real cash crop on your hands.
  • Check in every day for prizes – You receive bonuses for checking in on Castaway Paradise every day. You might receive money, or even the aforementioned plantable fruit.
  • Note how many times you need to use a tool before a task is completed – Tasks like watering trees and flowers, breaking rocks, and digging up stumps require more than one action. Take note how many times you need to use the relevant tool before the task is done. Using tools takes up stamina, which regenerates over time.
  • Tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom out and see where the island’s citizens are – Can’t find where anything (or anyone) is? Tap the magnifying glass icon in the lower-left corner of the screen. You’ll get a bird’s eye view of the island as well as nearby shops and villagers that have issued quests.

  • Shake down trees for fruit and pinecones – Shaking a tree containing ripe fruit will gift you with a piece of that fruit, which you can plant or sell. Don’t forget to shake down pine trees, though. Some villagers issue quests that require you to grow pine trees, which you can’t do without a pine cone.
  • Put your finger close to your avatar to make them walk slowly and sneak up on bugs – Catching bugs can be tricky business in Castaway Paradise. You need to approach them slowly, then tap the net icon when it pops up. To keep from startling the bugs, keep your finger close to your avatar when moving them around. This causes them to “sneak,” which lets them get close to the bugs without scaring them.
  • Keep trees watered to collect their bounty  – You need to water trees frequently if you want them to produce fruit. Keep an eye on the icons above the trees. If there’s a water drop, it needs water. If there’s a “control panel” offering to speed up growth, you need to wait (or use a speed-up item, if you have it). If there’s a checkmark, the tree is ready for harvesting.
  • Sell trash for fun and profit – Trash – broken TVs, tires, and the like – makes your island gross. Pick it up and sell it. It won’t bring in a lot of money, but cleaning up and receiving a little pocket change is certainly preferable to leaving a mess around.

  • Dig up stumps to beautify your island – Use the shovel to dig up unsightly stumps. You can fill in the hole with dirt, or pop in a piece of fruit or a pine cone to grow another sapling.
  • Complete quests to earn puzzle pieces – Puzzle pieces are necessary for opening up new parts of the island. You can grab them by completing quests for the island’s residents.
