BTS World has taken the world by storm – and for good reason. This awesome new narrative card collecting RPG by Netmarble challenges you to literally create the band BTS out of a bunch of – at the time – nobodies as you strive to put on their first show.

If you’re yet to check it out, you can read our full Review or our Beginner’s Guide to get yourself acquainted. If you’ve been playing it since launch, we’ve put together a bunch of FAQs below and answered them to help you all out. Aren’t we nice?

How do I Change My Profile Picture in BTS World?

For some reason, changing your profile picture in BTS World has proven an incredibly difficult task. What is a simple process in any social media is a mess of navigating menus and tapping stuff in Netmarble’s latest game. Here’s how to do it in steps:

  • Select ‘Manage Cards’
  • Select the card you want as your profile picture
  • Tap on the image itself
  • Select the profile picture icon on the top right of the card, next to the bin icon
  • Select ‘Ok’

And just like that you’ve changed your profile picture. It works for any card you currently own in your collection so go crazy and feel free to change it as much as you want.

What Are Puzzle Pieces and What do They do?

Puzzle pieces are basically parts of cards that you haven’t earned it. You collect them as mission rewards and they’ll make up a single card when you’ve collected the maximum number that you need for each card.

To check which puzzle pieces you currently have, follow these steps:

  • Select ‘Manage Cards’
  • Select ‘All Cards’
  • Tap on a card
  • Select ‘Craft’

You should now see the number of puzzle pieces you have for that specific card. You’ll be able to craft it as soon as you have the number required to perform the craft. According to Reddit, it takes about 50 puzzle pieces to unlock a card so keep doing missions!

How do I Add Friends in BTS World?

Unlike changing your profile picture, adding friends is a piece of cake in BTS World. Once again, we’ll make this as easy as possible for you by popping it into steps:

  • Select ‘+’
  • Select ‘Friends’
  • Select ‘Add Friends’
  • Add your friends

There are numerous different ways to add friends in BTS World, but the method you’ll probably use the most is to share codes with a friend. To do that, simply copy the code into the search bar in the ‘Add Friends’ page. Your friend should pop up right away.

What is Affinity and How do I Increase it?

Affinity basically denotes your relationship with each individual member of BTS, and you can increase it by interacting with them during story beats, collecting new cards, and completing Priority Schedules.

Interacting with band members generally takes the form of intimate text message conversations, during which you’ll have a multiple choice of ways to respond to them. Depending on how much they like your response, your Affinity will increase.

To trigger a conversation with a band member, you can simply play through the story, complete Priority Schedules, draw cards, complete sections of your photo album, or reach certain levels of Affinity.

What is Glass Mentality Boy?

There’s an intriguing easter egg in BTS World during chapter two, when BTS are trying to work on a brand new song to showcase. Taehyung mentions the phrase ‘Glass Mentality Boy’ when they’re discussing lyrics and Namjun seems to get upset.

If you’re wondering where this phrase comes from, it’s actually a lyric from the song “No More Dream”, which launched in 2013 when BTS were still a fresh new band on the block. That’s it – the mystery is over!
