When you’re flying over the bounce pad, you want to aim for the perfect section each and every time. When your reticule is over it, tap the screen to drive yourself down. This is going to give your new character the biggest boost possible, which is exactly what you want.
You should always try and grab the fat pellets scattered on the floor of the levels. Grab enough and you’ll get a boost. Plus, the heavier you are, the more power you’re going to put into your downward smashes and the bigger the boost you’re going to give to the next character to take over.
Keep an eye on how the obstacles in front of you are moving. Get the timing right and you’ll be able to slip through. This is particularly important with the gates that move up and down. If one’s just gone down, aim for that one to slip through when it moves back up again. It’s all about timing.
We couldn’t find any use for the stars. You get them at the end of every level you complete, and you can watch a video to earn more. There doesn’t seem to be anything you can spend them on, and they don’t seem to have any effect on the game itself. It’s definitely not worth watching the videos to get more.
You might notice two arrows on either side of the screen while you’re playing. They may look like controls, but actually they’re just showing you where the other two competitors are in the race. In all honesty, it’s best not to pay too much attention to them. So long as you get all of your moves right, you’re going to finish the race first.
