What are Boss Keys, and how do you get them? They’re a required item for some boss battles in Sailor Piece, but not all. The Blessed Maiden boss fight requires a completely different item – the Tempest Relic.

What Are Boss Keys Used For?

The clue is in the name, as Boss Keys are used to summon bosses. You can only do this by visiting Boss Island and speaking to the Boss Spawner NPC. When interacting with them, you are required to exchange Boss Keys to summon specific bosses.

As of right now, there are three bosses to summon this way:

Saber

  • 1x Boss Key
  • 100K Gold
  • 170 Gems

Saber has a total of 2.5 million HP and, upon defeat, has a chance to drop the following rewards:

  • Boss Ticket
    • 100% drop chance
  • Race Reroll
    • 40% drop chance
  • Haki Color Reroll
    • 25% drop chance
  • Dungeon Key
    • 10% drop chance
  • Blade Master (Title)
    • 5% drop chance
  • Saber Armor
    • 5% drop chance
  • Saber (Sword)
    • 2% drop chance

Qin Shi

  • 3x Boss Keys
  • 250K Gold
  • 400 Gems

With 10 million HP, defeating Qin Shi grants a chance to get these rewards:

  • Boss Ticket
    • 100% drop chance
  • Haki Color Reroll
    • 75% drop chance
  • Race Reroll
    • 50% drop chance
  • Trait Reroll
    • 40% drop chance
  • Dungeon Key
    • 15% drop chance
  • Jade Tablet
    • 6% drop chance
  • Imperial Seal
    • 2% drop chance
  • Qin Shi Blindfold
    • 2.5% drop chance
  • King of Beginning (Title)
    • 1.5% drop chance

Ichigo

  • 5x Boss Keys
  • 350K Gold
  • 600 Gems

Out of these three bosses, Ichigo has the highest HP at 65 million. He has a chance to drop:

  • Boss Ticket
    • 100% drop chance
  • Haki Color Reroll
    • 85% drop chance
  • Race Reroll
    • 80% drop chance
  • Trait Reroll
    • 60% drop chance
  • Dungeon Key
    • 20% drop chance
  • Soul Fragment
    • 6% drop chance
  • Hollow Mask
    • 2% drop chance
  • Spiritual Core
    • 1.75% drop chance
  • Soul Flame
    • 0.7% drop chance
  • Soul Reaper (Title)
    • 1% drop chance

Boss Keys are separate from Boss Tickets, as the latter is a form of currency that you can spend when speaking to the Boss Token Exchange NPC. Boss Tickets are used to purchase:

  • Qin Shi (Melee) for 250x Boss Tickets
  • Saber (Sword) for 65x Boss Tickets
  • Ichigo (Sword) for 500x Boss Tickets
