Just discovered the Boba Story Magic Den and not entirely sure what it is? Well, we’re here to help. In this guide, we’re going to walk you through everything that you need to know about this feature, and how to make the most of it. That way, you can progress much faster in this awesome new mobile adventure.

Boba Story is a mobile management simulator that sees you create your own boba store. You’ll decorate the interior as you strive to build a store that people will want to visit. Then, you’ll create the best drinks you can imagine, mixing flavours in the form of drinks, jelly, and pearls.

You can learn more about Boba Story on the official site. We’ve also got a complete list of Boba Story recipes that works as a nice companion to this guide.

Boba Story Magic Den

Now, let’s take a look at the contents of this guide.

What’s the Magic Den?

The Magic Den is, quite frankly, where all of the magic happens in Boba Story. It’s a room that you unlock when you’ve saved up 1,500 ‘Leaves’, and it’s basically where you can discover new drinks.

How do I Make New Drinks?

Well, the first thing you’ll want to do is use the ‘Experiment Table’ to start mixing together various different ingredients. That way, you’ll unlock new drinks that you can sell in your cafe.

You have to experiment with various ingredients that you unlock as you play to discover these new drinks. Or, you could read our recipes guide linked in the third paragraph. We won’t judge!

Who’s This Kokoro?

Kokoro is the animated fireplace that clearly draws inspiration from Howl’s Moving Castle’s Calcifer. He’s your source of new ingredients, which you unlock gacha-style. Simply tap on Calci… wait, Kokoro, and you can collect a few trinkets at random.

You can do this three times at a regular interval (typically hours apart) or you can pay to bypass the waiting entirely.

Trinkets are basically the base ingredient for ingredients, and you have to mix these together to turn them into ingredients. Again, you do this at random to experiment.

Do I Unlock All New Drinks Using the Boba Story Magic Den?

Actually, no. The simpler drinks you can unlock simply by making them in your cafe, but more complex drinks you have to first discover in the Magic Den.

You can check which drinks you do, or don’t, have to unlock by checking the ‘Drinks’ window. Ingredients, toppings, or drinks without a lock icon you can craft at any time, while those with a lock require the use of the Magic Den.
