Blob Hero Strategy Guide – Perks, Upgrades and More

Blob Hero is an action-packed rogue-very-lite that sees you bashing your way through hordes of enemies. You unlock perks as you fight that can help you out – special auras, lightning blasts, worms that attack your enemies, that sort of thing.

It’s a pretty simple game to pick up, but when the fighting starts it can be pretty tough to take a stand if you’re not entirely sure what you’re supposed to be doing. And that’s exactly why we decided to write this guide. These strategies are designed to turn you from a blob zero to a blob hero in no time.

We’ve played a decent chunk of the game and discovered all the knowledge you need to take your skills to the next level and beyond, whether you’re a baby blob or a veteran. So here we go – these are the very best hints, tips and cheats for Blob Hero.

Look for pick-ups

When you’re moving around the level, keep an eye out for pick-ups that are going to help you out. It might be chests with perks in them, health boosts or magnets. Keep on the lookout for coins as well. The more you can add to your build, the better you’re going to do.

Mix up your perks

Think about your strengths and weaknesses and try to address them when you level up. Auras and HP recharging are a good combo, but add some ranged attacks in there as well. Throw in some extra speed and magnetism and you’re already starting to look the part.

Keep moving

Whatever you do, don’t stop moving. Look for the gaps in the crowd and try and make sure that you don’t get surrounded. If you come across a huge horde of enemies it’s usually best to run away from them, rather than running into the fray.

Upgrade smart

When you die you’ll get a chance to upgrade some stats. It’s best to focus on your damage and health to begin with and saving upgrades to your offline earnings for later. Extra strength and health can give you an edge in your fights.

Watch the videos?

There are often chances to watch videos – sometimes to unlock perks, sometimes to revive when you’ve died. It’s obviously up to you whether you take those chances, but we’d suggest giving them a miss. Keep working and earning and you’ll start to get stronger without them.
