How to Beat Blair Roblox Ghosts

With Blair being heavily inspired by Phasmophobia, it’s no surprise that there are a bunch of g-g-g-g-ghosts that you need to counter. But how exactly do you beat some of them? You can’t really ‘beat’ them in the normal sense. However, you can avoid them, escape hunts, and find the correct clues.

There are 12 ghosts in total in Blair right now, and it’s important to note that the character models have nothing to do with the type of ghost – it’s purely for aesthetics.

  • Please note that this guide is ongoing and will be updated frequently! You may notice that not all 12 ghosts are included in this guide right now, but fret not, they’ll be added soon!

Banshee

The Banshee can be a pretty difficult ghost to go against, mainly because it focuses on one person for the entire round. Once it’s chosen a player to latch onto, that person needs to try and avoid them as much as possible.

However, while the Banshee is focused on that singular person, the rest of the team can crack on with collecting evidence and completing the round! This is the best way to counter the Banshee, but it’s up to the targeted player to stay out of the Banshee’s way as much as they can. If they get killed by the Banshee, the ghost will then select another target.

Evidence

  • Freezing temperatures
  • EMF Level 5
  • Fingerprints
  • Parabolic Microphone scream (low chance)

Harrow

Harrows like to focus on a certain room within the building. If a player enters this room, the Harrow won’t be happy. If the ghost is hovering around their chosen room, their speed gets a significant increase and will try to attack anyone who walks close by. If multiple players are close to the room, the Harrow will become more dangerous, so beware.

While there’s no way to deter the Harrow, the only option is to wait until the Harrow is away from their chosen room. This is because their speed is decreased quite a lot when they’re further away! This’ll give you the freedom to explore that specific room to find evidence.

Evidence

  • Fingerprints
  • Orb
  • Writing
  • You can hear its footsteps

Demon

Unfortunately, Demons are more likely to attempt to kill every team member – this makes them a difficult foe to go against. No matter the team’s average sanity, a Demon will still hunt each member. If your sanity goes below 60%, the Demon has a higher chance of hunting you.

The best way to counter the Demon is by holding a crucifix. You need to be tactical when using this item though, and have it out at all times when the Demon is hunting you. This won’t kill the Demon, but it will scare it away for a while – allowing you and your teammates to collect more evidence for the round.

Evidence

  • Spirit Box
  • Writing
  • Freezing temperatures
  • Demons hunt players the most out of all the in-game ghosts

Lament

The Lament is a tricky one… literally. This ghost can trick you, making you vulnerable to their attacks during hunts. While getting rid of disruption effects and lowering their rate of activity when finishing their current hunt, they don’t really have any weaknesses.

The only weakness to note is that their speed doesn’t increase when they’re hunting a player. This does mean that it’s easier for you to escape a hunt, but you can’t hear the footsteps of a Lament – making it difficult to know exactly where it is.

Evidence

  • Spirit Box
  • EMF Level 5
  • Orb
  • They can end any electronic disruption effects that you set up

Poltergeist

This ghost can decrease your sanity levels quickly due to its high activity. Luckily, this activity doesn’t always mean an increased amount of hunts – it’s mainly messing about with objects. Keep an eye out for strange noises and movements of doors, windows, and other furniture/objects around the building. Plus, it likes to interfere with electronics!

Due to this higher amount of activity, it can be pretty easy to counter at times. If you’re in a room for a longer period, and you don’t notice anything weird happening, you’re safe! This means the Poltergeist isn’t close by.

Evidence

  • Orb
  • Spirit Box
  • Fingerprint

Mare

This ghost really likes the dark. It excels when in darkness, meaning there’s a higher chance for it to start a hunt. You’ll spot a lot more activity when a Mare is in the dark, and the danger levels increase considerably.

So, it’s stronger in the dark, which means it must be weaker in the light, right? Correct! Rooms that are bright or have at least a significant amount of light are its weaknesses. Make sure to keep all of the lights on at all times. You’ll probably have to wander around the building a lot to switch them back on if they go off throughout the round.

Evidence

  • Spirit Box
  • Orb
  • Freezing temperatures
