How to Unlock All Bizarre Lineage Fighting Styles

Unlocking Bizarre Lineage Fighting Styles is easy once you know which NPCs to go to. The questlines aren’t too difficult, but like anything in Bizarre Lineage, they can be a bit of a grind.

Like sub-abilities, there are also Edicts to equip. The only Edict so far is Dark Determination, which is a long-winded obtainment process.

Bizarre Lineage Fighting Styles

Fighting Styles are an optional addition to your character build. Do you need one? Well, they’re not a necessity, but they’re always useful to have. With Stands, sub-abilities, and Fighting Styles, you can come out on top in combat.

To unlock more abilities, you need to speak with the corresponding Fighting Style NPCs again. Each additional move requires the completion of a quest. Fighting Styles have 3 moves in total as of right now.

Kendo

Quest

Teleport to Bus Stop 15 and head inside the Kame Yu Market to find the Samurai Master NPC.

Abilities

• Whirlwind
  • Slash directly in front of you, striking all enemies in a small radius around you
    • This move Guardbreaks opponents
• Whirlwind (Air)
  • Performing Whirlwind mid-air slashes the enemy upwards before you knock them back, causing them to ragdoll
• Silent Edge
  • Dash forward and strike. If you successfully attack the target, you then perform multiple slashes at once, stunning all hit enemies
• Rising Tempest
  • Stomp on the ground, and if a target is hit, you can send them upwards with 3 strikes, knocking them away and ragdolling them

Boxing

Quest

Visit Jojo’s Bizarre Gym, which is close to Bus Stop 2. Head upstairs to find the Boxing Coach NPC to start the Boxing Fighting Style quest.

Abilities

• White Fang
  • Perform an uppercut and a right hook to stun the enemy
• Liver Crusher
  • 2 gut punches in quick succession, stunning the enemy
• Dempsey Roll
  • Sway side to side until the enemy attacks you, and in retaliation, hit them multiple times before finishing with a left hook

Karate

Quest

Head to Bus Stop 15 and look for the Karate Sensei NPC, located near the Hospital.

Abilities

• Seiken Barrage
  • Dash towards the enemy before hitting them multiple times
• Sixth Massacre
  • Hit the enemy and then jump into the air before smashing your fist into the ground to summon a shockwave
• Tatsumaki
  • Jump into the air and stick your foot out whilst spinning, kicking enemies multiple times to stun them

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Fighting Styles Important?

Not really, but you might as well unlock at least one of them. Combining a Fighting Style with Stand abilities and your sub-abilities increases your power overall. There’s no reason not to obtain a Fighting Style.

Do I Need to Unlock Fighting Styles Again After Reaching Prestige?

Yes. When you increase your level of Prestige, your Fighting Style is reset, as well as some of your other abilities and character stats. This does mean you need to complete the Fighting Style quests again to unlock the Style itself and its additional moves.

Do Fighting Styles Count For My Character or Stand?

Fighting Styles only work for your character. Your Stand is completely separate. Even with your Stand, you can still deal damage directly in combat, which is where Fighting Styles and sub-abilities come in.
