The Best Soul Reaper Build In Type Soul

Shinigami Clan

The foundation of all builds is a player’s Clan. This determines some fundamental and basic stat attributes, scripting the beginning of their progression.

I recommend aiming for the Mythical 1% roll chance, Sozosei Clan. Of all options from its shared tier and lower, this lineage offers the most fruitful benefits, including:

  • +10 HP, +8 Posture, +10 Reiatsu, +5% Increased Mode Duration, and +7% Increased Vizard Duration
  • Enlightenment (Passive): Taking an attack twice will trigger an adaptation, having increased defence against that particular move for the following 5 minutes.

Best Weapon

To tie in the Skill Tree I recommend in a later heading, I believe the Yamato blade is one of the better options for Soul Reapers. It requires using a Dimensional Shard whilst having 50 Speed Points to obtain.

In exchange, you get a powerful and rapid blade that wastes no time slicing into opponents.

Shikai Element

Although not among the mythics, I recommend the Legendary Theatre Shikai Element (3% chance). This elite element hosts incredible move sets with great combat versatility and adaptability. It allows the player to stack powerful combos, as well as prevents opponents from parrying or blocking in certain situations, giving the user a huge advantage.

  • Kageoni
    • Perform a strong ragdolling thrust from behind. This move cannot be blocked or parried. This move is excellent as a combo starter.
  • Wraith
    • Leap into the air and vanish before reappearing on top of your opponent, dealing a powerful strike.
  • Iro Oni
    • Ridicule the opponent from a shadowy stance. If hit during this stance, you teleport behind the enemy and ragdoll them. This move has immense hyperarmour, penetrating almost all moves.
  • Plague (Bankai)
    • Unleash a huge burst of energy, marking all nearby enemies. This mark will then deal damage and stun all targeted opponents.
  • Final Play (Bankai)
    • Charge up and release a massive slash, dealing guard-breaking damage to all enemies within a radius.

Skill Tree Investment

Skill Trees depend on your preferred play, but if you want my recommendations, I suggest investing primarily in the Speed Skill Tree. This Tree aids players with fast, unpredictable attacks that are hard to navigate if you’re on the receiving end. Similarly, having Speed on your side allows for evasion when you need to escape conflict.

Alongside this, the Shinigami Kido Tree is always a good place to invest for stronger moves and bulkier builds.

Misc

This section is a brief overview of things to look out for alongside your main build.

  • Accessories
    • As you accumulate Accessories, you should take the time to understand their enhancements and dress accordingly.
  • True variants and other prestige
    • Unlocking your full potential is more than just reaching Elite Grade. Don’t forget about Itto Kaso, Bankai, Vizard, and True Variants!
  • Essences
    • Essences provide additional moves, allowing more diversity in combat.
