If the path of the Shinigami is the one for you, then you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, I’m, going to walk you through the best Soul Reaper build in Type Soul.

Type Soul is a Roblox Action RPG inspired by the hugely popular anime series Bleach. It captures much of the show’s complexity in its mechanics, which means there’s a huge range of character customisation options available for those willing to sink the time in. If you just want to get straight to the good stuff, however, then have no fear. This guide will do just that for the Soul Reaper class.

You can give Type Soul a whirl on Roblox right now. For more on the game, check out our Type Soul Emotes guide and our guide on how to wipe in Type Soul.

The Best Soul Reaper Build In Type Soul

The following is my pick for the best Soul Reaper build in Type Soul. I’ve split this guide into three sections, each covering a different aspect of the build. Note that this build is specifically geared towards PvP, and 1v1 matches in particular. If you’re planning to try out some team Raids or PvE encounters, this may not be the build for you.

Weapon

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. For this build, we’ll be going with the Katana for our weapon. It’s basic, but it’s good enough for our needs, particularly since we’ll be relying on our Shikai for damage for the most part.

Skill Tree

For this build, we’ll be going with the Kendo Skill Tree. This is the best Skill Tree for building characters who excel in 1v1 situations, and therefore the best one for our needs. It also has some excellent Skill Box Skills, with Eviscerate and Sonata Flow in particular being highlights. For more on this, check out my Type Soul Skill Boxes guide.

Shikai

The heart of our build is the new Legendary Shikai, Theatre. It packs three powerful exclusive moves: Kageoni, Wraith, and Iro Oni. The first two teleport you to your opponent before dishing out an attack, while the third is a basic counter for enemy attacks. These moves let you adopt an evasive, combo-focused moveset, putting pressure on foes from afar while always having the potential to finish them off.
