Bead Sort is a pretty simple looking game. It’s all about picking up coloured beads and putting them in the matching receptacle. It can get a little bit frustrating though, especially in the later levels where there are loads of different beads to try and sort through.
If you’ve been pulling your hair out, don’t worry. We’ve put a few hours into the game now and we think we’ve discovered some hints, tips and tricks that are going to make sure your sorting career goes as smoothly as possible.

It’s tempting to stuff as many beads into the collecting tube as you can. That doesn’t really help anything though. Pick up a few, drop them where you want to put them, and then collect some more. There’s no time limit on the game after all.
The more beads you have in the tube, the more likely you’re going to drop some, or send them flying in directions you didn’t want them to go. It’s like the tortoise and the hare – slow and steady wins the race.
On levels where you’ve got multiple colours spread evenly across different receptacles, it’s a good idea to work in a methodical way. When you’ve cleared one space, choose the bead colour that will go into that space.
That way you’re dropping beads into empty space, rather than scattering them on top of other beads. That’s where a lot of your problems are going to stem from, so picking and dropping in the smartest way possible is really going to help.
Sometimes it can look like you’ve collected all of the beads, only for the game to tell you you’re stuck at 98 or 99 percent. Usually that means there’s a bead stuck in a corner that you can’t see properly.
Switch to the right colour and sweep the corners and more often than not you’re going to find the bead you’re looking for. Other times a bead might be stuck under others, so if the corners don’t help, have a swipe over all the rest of the beads.
You don’t need to swipe around on top of the beads. Instead you can use the space at the bottom of the screen. Swiping over the beads is going to make things particularly difficult, since you won’t be able to see what you’re doing.
Using your space in the smartest ways is going to make sure you’ve got the best view and the best control. It’s okay to stop and reposition your finger if you’re not comfortable as well.
