Barn Voyage is a farming sim game from Fun+. In this game, you build up a farm and make wads of cash by selling crops, recipes, and animal products. Gamezebo’s walkthrough will provide you with some tips and hints that will help you become a champion of the soil.

  • Plant as many crops as possible – As you level up in Barn Voyage, you’re allowed to lay down more plots and plant more crops. Make sure to upgrade your fields for higher yields. Crops provide raw materials for recipes, they can be sold at market or to neighbors, and they’re also used to make animal feed. The more you have, the better.
  • However, be careful about how much barn / silo space you have left – That said, your storage space in Barn Voyage is limited. Keep an eye on your barn / silo space as you harvest your goods. Make more room by selling items and making feed often.
  • Don’t always be in a rush to harvest animal products – Don’t feel obligated to feed your animals when they request food (not a recommended policy in real life). Feeding animals is what causes them to yield eggs, milk, and other animal products. If you’re short on storage space and don’t need the ingredients right away, it’s not a bad idea to hold off a bit and save on feed.

  • Complete goals to level up quickly – The best way to level up – and keep track of what you’re doing – is to complete tasks. Check out your ongoing list on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Animals are always good investments – Animals are expensive, but the investment is worth it. Animal products are easy to harvest, feed is cheaply made, and the ingredients can go back into making recipes that sell for a lot of cash.
  • Harvesting crops can also yield rare building materials – Wood, nails, and metals are all necessary for assembling new buildings. You can find these items by harvesting your crops.
  • Learn recipes – Don’t slack on learning recipes. They’re vital for turning a decent profit.
  • Complex dishes sell for more than raw materials – Dishes made from the recipes you learn earn big money. By contrast, crops are easier to harvest and sell immediately, but turn a smaller profit.

  • Fill out board orders as frequently as possible – Check your order board to send your crops and recipes into down as often as possible. Not only is this the best way to earn money, but it also helps keep your silo and barn empty for more crops and animal products.
  • Don’t be afraid to turn down neighbors’ requests for food – Every so often, neighbors will appear in your farm yard and request a quantity of certain crops or products. While indulging them isn’t a bad way to get rid of surplus items, they don’t always sell for a high profit compared to what you’d get at market. Seller beware.
  • Expensive crops yield more feed than cheap crops – Generally, the more expensive your crop, the more feed it’ll yield when it’s turned into feed. For instance, one clover makes one feed, whereas one onion makes two feeds. That said, it’s not necessarily a bad idea to plant an entire field of cheap, fast-growing crops strictly to make a pile of feed that’ll last you a long time.
