Let’s start the Between Realities Hunt quest! When you load up Astro Renaissance, you’ll be greeted with the option to click the pink ‘Go!’ button to take you to The Hunt. You suddenly arrive in a futuristic spaceship, with an NPC called Moonlight standing at the far end.
Moonlight explains that 4 rifts in the universe have destroyed the core, but there are missing shards preventing it from being fixed. Worked out what you’re doing yet? You guessed it, it’s time to find the shards!
One of the main things to keep in mind is that there are 3 shards located in all 4 rifts. Within the main hub area, you can see 4 portals that teleport you to the different rifts.
When you accept the quest, head to the rift positioned at your closest left. Jump up the cubes and enter the rift! For this one, you need to search and find a total of 5 green buttons that open a door.
Walk around the room and interact with each green button as you find them. The trickier ones to find are located behind 2 of the metal boxes, under the sofa, and another is on the wall behind the potions on the science lab table.
After finding all 5 of the buttons, a door will open, which leads you to another area that houses the shards!
After exiting the first rift, make sure you head to the rift to the right of the hub entrance. Enter this next rift to load into a corridor, and walk into the Electrical Room. 3 shards are hiding within the vents! Explore the vents to find each shard – luckily the vents aren’t huge, so it’s easy enough to find them after some wandering around.
Head over to the next rift that is directly in front of rift 2. This rift is an obby! By completing the obby, you can find all 3 shards.
The final rift! If you’re not too sure where it is, it’s on the back left of the main hub area (when standing in the entranceway). Similarly to Rift 3, this one is also an obby!
Once you have all 12 shards, you can load back into the main hub area. Walk over to the core globe in the middle of the room and hold E to interact with it. By doing this, a door on the upper floor turns blue and can now be opened.
Head up to this newly unlocked door and enter to take part in a boss fight! I recommend remaining on the bridge when attacking the enemy and aiming for his upper torso. Once you defeat the boss, a door will spawn, and you can walk through it to exit the arena. After this, you earn the Different Realities The Hunt badge!
