Despite the name, Archero actually features several different weapon options that you can unlock as you play. Each weapon plays very different from the others, which suits different play styles.

You can also level each of them up to increase their firepower and effects. It’s worth grabbing all of them at some point to see how you get on with each of them individually.

In this guide, we’re going to detail all of the different weapon types to help you decide which is the one for you. We’ll also detail how to get weapons generally.

Archero: What Are Weapons?

Weapons are the items you’ll use to defeat the myriad monsters you’ll face while playing. There are four of them to collect, and each of them behave very differently.

How do I Get New Weapons?

You’ll primarily get them from opening chests, which cost gems. Don’t worry though, you can get these in various different ways from buying them outright with real cash, progressing further in the game, and watching ads whenever the opportunity comes up.

You might also get weapons on a very rare occasion from monster drops – particularly bosses. This is incredibly rare though.

How do I Upgrade Weapons?

You have to first collect Weapon Upgrade Scrolls, which occasionally drop from monsters and then purchase the upgrade with gold.

Archero Weapons List:

Weapon:Properties:
BowThe Bow is the default weapon in Archero and provides a solid balance between range, attack speed, and damage dealing.
BoomerangThe Boomerang hits weapons twice per attack – once on the way out and again as it returns.
ScytheThe Scythe can knock back enemies that get close to you, providing a bit of a defensive boost.
BladeThe Blade is the fastest weapon but the trade off is that each individual attack is weaker than the other weapons.
