The Field Research quest requires some mob farming to complete. If you’ve picked up the quest, you’ll more than likely have already read the quest description:
The Guild Clerk NPC can be found standing next to the quest board in the main city hub. He’ll be resting his back against the board while folding his arms. Once you’ve obtained 4 Mushroom Caps, you can interact with him to hand over the items.
So, what do you get for successfully completing the quest?
You can reap tons of rewards by working through available quests, so it’s best to pick them up as much as you can! NPCs can sometimes be involved directly in a quest, so you might spot them stnading next to the Notice Board. You can pick up quests via the quest boards found throughout the map.
