You can find information regarding each difficulty mode down below. As of right now, there are 3 modes to choose from.
Firstly, let’s start off with the the standard difficulty mode. This is the most common choice when starting the game, and can be a great way to get used to how Arcane Lineage works before delving into a more intense playthrough.
When playing in Normal Mode, you will have:
While increasing the difficulty comes with more challenges, you’ll also receive a ton of advantages. Selecting this mode as a new players wouldn’t be detrimental to your playthrough, but it might take a little while to get used to. Arcane Lineage is a notoriously difficult game after all.
When playing in Hard Mode, you will have:
If you want to try out Hard Mode, you’ll need to visit Purgatory. This is the area that you find yourself in once you have been defeated in-game. You can either revive yourself on your current difficulty mode, or select Hard Mode for more of a challenge.
As you may have guessed, Legendary Mode is the hardest difficulty level in the game at this current time. It’s recommend to at least try out Hard Mode before attempting Legendary. The game is already difficult, and Legendary Mode can be a hindrance if you’re not used to the game. Similarly to Hard Mode, the Legendary difficulty comes with its own pros and cons.
