So, you want to be an Arcane Lineage Alchemist but don’t know how or why? Well, I can help you with that. In this very guide dedicated to the subclass, I detail the Alchemist’s skills, perks, and how to unlock it. What’s more, I’ll update this guide whenever anything changes, be it balancing or new abilities.

Arcane Lineage is a Roblox RPG that plays like a throwback to a bygone era. Gone is the action-packed combat that Roblox is known for, replaced by thoughtful and methodical turn-based. Forget about quest markers and exclamation marks and instead go out and seek quests for yourself. Want to become a Paladin? Well, you’ll have to manually hunt down the trainer. Or, use one of our handy guides.

You can grab Arcane Lineage on Roblox. Or, you can check out a few of my other guides, including the Arcane Lineage Musician, Arcane Lineage soul points, and Arcane Lineage Martial Artist.

Arcane Lineage Alchemist

Now, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about the Arcane Lineage Alchemist.

What is the Alchemist Sub Class?

As the name suggests, the Alchemist specialises in brewing all kinds of potions, including the Small Health, Ferrus, and Insibility potions. Its active skills provide stat debuffs for opponents, and allows you to get more out of making potions.

Every class can benefit from using the Alchemist sub class, but I’d particularly recommend it to those who prefer to play without others. You can craft handy potions to help you in battle, gain access to way more gold, and debuff your opponents.

Passive Abilities for the Alchemist

The Alchemist’s passive abilities focus entirely on potions and potion-making, allowing you to brew anywhere, drink more potions, and sell ingredients and potions that you don’t want for cash.

  • Iron Gut: Reduce toxicity from potions you drink while in combat.
  • Create Cauldron: Spawn a cauldron from any location.
  • Certified: Sell ingredients and potions to apothecaries.

Active Abilities for the Alchemist

The Alchemist only gains access to a single active skill, which deals damage and debuffs your opponent.

  • Dangerous Mixture: Deals five damage and applies a random debuff to an opponent for three turns.

Best Super Class for the Alchemist

While any super class can benefit from the Alchemist sub class, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to support-based characters as the Musician is a much better option. Solo characters in particular will get the most out of this class, though DPS characters can also get something out of it.

In particular, I’d recommend this sub class to the following super classes:

  • Monk
  • Paladin
  • Berserker
  • Impaler
  • Rogue
  • Assassin
  • Elementalist

How to Unlock the Arcane Lineage Alchemist

To unlock the Alchemist, you have to find the class trainer and speak to them. The class trainer is located in Deeproot Canopy in one of the central towers. You can easily recognise the NPC as they are messing around with potions like a true Alchemist.
