Shiny hunting time.
The Anime Vanguards Shiny units have no real benefit to your account, but you do get some cool cosmetics out of them!

A Shiny unit is just another variation of a unit, but a much rarer one! You can’t obtain Shinies until your account reaches level 10, so some grinding and progression are required before you consider getting a Shiny in your summons.
Shinies do not increase your stats or unlock new abilities for you. Their only purpose is to be cosmetic for your unit and allow you to flex your luck to other players in the lobby. Are they worth it? I can’t say yes. They’re cool to have if you manage to get one, but they don’t come with any major perks, so I wouldn’t go out of my way to obtain one myself.
As I mentioned earlier, you have a chance to obtain one while summoning on any banner. The only units that have this variant are Secret and Mythical rarity ones right now!
The drop rate chance of a Shiny variant is 1.5% on top of the already existing rarity of that unit. So, once you get a Mythical or Secret character, you have an additional 1.5% chance of said unit being a Shiny.
The only reason I’m including this section is because it’s another method of obtaining a Shiny. However, I do want to state that I don’t think it’s worth it in the slightest, but I might as well inform you about it!
The Shiny Hunter gamepass costs 1,299 Robux (yikes) and upon purchase, it increases your chance of getting a Shiny unit to 3% (on top of the unit’s base drop rate).
Obtaining certain Shiny units unlocks their outfit for your avatar! But first, you need to evolve them. You can only get their cosmetic for yourself once you manage to evolve them to their next form.
