Get ready to save the multiverse with the strongest warriors across the lands with the help of my Anime Squadron Tier List, ranking all characters from best to worst, based on their team synergy, skills, and general stats.

This Tier List is up to date as of June 13th, 2026 [Release]
The must-have units. Those in this Tier adapt to all game modes and express the most versatile skills, allowing them to carve through enemies with little trouble. They synergise well with most other units, making them a one-size-fits-all for your build, and the strongest as of release.
Secondary to the top, these units slot nicely into an end-game team if you invest in their levels and upgrades. They aren’t the best fit for every player, but they make for good alternatives if you don’t have a full team of top tiers.
Settled into the average tier, these units lift off from the early-game, being strong tertiary options for end-game players, or good units to bridge the gap between the early-game and later-game content. Overall, they perform pretty average, and how far you choose to invest in them is up to how well they slot into your play.
Whilst not weak, these are pretty forgettable units. They aren’t worth investing in, and don’t have any outstanding strengths past the early game. Ideally, you’ll work to summon B-Tier or higher units to progress through the game without much struggle.
This lonely Tier hosts the beginner units as a landmark for strength progression. They’re weak, replaceable, but somewhat iconic in their familiarity. Overall, I don’t recommend keeping these in your party after the initial tutorial phase and early-game stages. To the Summons!
To summon more units traditionally, you need to pull for them using the Summons Gacha. This requires Gems, which you earn through general gameplay, including daily rewards, quests, etc, but for the release, I recommend checking out our Anime Squadron Codes guide, which gives you the perfect head start.
Any of the Secret Units, including the elusive and highly sought-after Gogeta/Gometa unit.
Gometa (SSJ4) hands down. This unique Secret has a quest-related attainment and requires so much more investment, which means it also has the best skillset and upgrades compared to all other units and Secrets. This includes his Fusion Reignited, Transcendent Being, Master of Combat, and BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHA!
