Anime Last Stand is a game that subverts Tower Defence norms, adding in sneaky secrets and complex systems with each new update. In our Anime Last Stand Yuta guide, we’ll talk you through the most elusive secret Unit from Update 2.

Anime Last Stand is a Tower Defence game on the Roblox platform. Combining classic Tower Defence mechanics with surprisingly deep RPG systems, the game offers plenty to get stuck into. There are also some secret Units to uncover, if you’re willing to put in the work. In this guide we’ll cover how to get your hands on Yuta, the latest in this line.

You can jump into Anime Last Stand right now via Roblox. For more on the game’s latest update, check out our Anime Last Stand update 2 codes list. For a different kind of anime experience, check out our Anime Spirits tier list.

Anime Last Stand Yuta Guide

In this guide, we’ll break down the process of adding the new Yuta Unit to your roster. Before we begin, it’s worth noting that the actual in-game name of the Unit is Cursed Child, not Yuta. The Unit is based on the character Yuta Okkotsu from JuJutsu Kaisen, however, and many Anime Last Stand players prefer to refer to Units by their real character names. All of this to say, if you see players, or this guide, referring to Yuta, know that they’re talking about the Cursed Child Unit.

How To Get Yuta

In order to get Yuta, you need to get stuck into the new Portals that arrived in Update 2. There are 6 tiers of Portal available, and Yuta is a possible drop from the two highest tiers: 5 and Secret. Your chances of getting a Yuta from a Tier 5 Portal are miniscule at just 0.05%.

From a Secret Portal, however, your chances are 99.9%, with a 0.1% chance of getting a Shiny version instead. This means you’re guaranteed a Yuta drop from a Secret Portal. As we’ll get into, however, gaining access to a Secret Portal is no easy task.

How The Portal System Works

Portals are the big new addition in Update 2, and they work like this. After defeating a Boss in any mode, you have a 10% chance of receiving a Portal as a drop. Portals are items that, when used, transport you to a version of a Story mode stage where enemies have more HP than usual. The amount of extra HP varies depending on the tier of the Portal:

  • Tier 1: 0% extra HP.
  • Tier 2: 25% extra HP.
  • Tier 3: 50% extra HP.
  • Tier 4: 150% extra HP.
  • Tier 5: 200% extra HP.
  • Secret Tier: 200% extra HP.

You’ll generally get Tier 1 Portals as drops from Bosses, but you can then get higher-Tier Portals as drops from Portal stages themselves. Secret Tier Portals drop at a 0.5% rate from Tier 5 Portals, so you’ll need to work your way up and grind for a while to get your hands on one. Once you do, however, your Yuta Unit is guaranteed.
