In its second update, Anime Last Stand sprinkles some sneaky new secrets onto an already-substantial game. One of these is the Anime Last Stand Secret Red Dragon Empress Unit, based on Rias Gremory from High School DxD.
Anime Last Stand is an anime-inspired Tower Defence game on the Roblox platform. It presents you with a pool of beloved anime characters to choose from and tasks you with building a squad that can withstand wave after wave of enemies. Red Dragon Empress is one of the best new Units added in the game’s second update, and in this guide we’ll teach you how to get one for yourself.

In this guide, we’ll cover how you can obtain the Secret Red Dragon Empress Unit. Before we can do that, however, we’ll need to explain how the new Portal system works.
In order to get your hands on the secret Red Dragon Empress Unit, you’re going to need some Portals. Portals are a new mechanic introduced in Update 2 for Anime Last Stand, and are Items you can receive as drops from Bosses in Story, Infinite, or Challenge mode. The chance of getting a Portal from any given Boss is roughly 10%.
When used, a Portal will transport you to a version of a Story mode stage where the enemies have increased HP. The amount of extra HP varies based on the tier of Portal used:
Each time you complete a Portal stage, you have a chance to get another Portal Item as a reward. In most cases, it will also be a higher-tier Portal than the one you just completed. For example, if you complete a Tier 2 Portal stage, you’ll probably get a Tier 3 Portal as a reward.
To get the Red Dragon Empress Unit, you need to complete a Tier 5 or Secret Tier Portal Stage. These have a 3% and 4% chance to drop a Red Dragon Empress at the end, respectively. This means you’ll need to complete a lot of low-Tier Portal stages to get higher-Tier Portals, then get lucky on those stages to snag the Unit. This can be a long process, so make sure your squad is firing on all cylinders to make the actual gameplay element run as smoothly as possible.
