Anime Last Stand Guitar Hero Guide

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to get Guitar Hero, and how you can make the most of him once you do.

How To Get Guitar Hero

Guitar Hero is a Celestial-rarity Unit. Like most other Celestial Units in the game, this means you can only roll him via Banner 2 at the Summon bar in the game’s hub. To unlock Banner 2, you need to complete Act 6 of Planet Nemak in the game’s story mode.

Each time you visit the Summon bar, a different Celestial Unit will be available on Banner 2. This changes every hour or so, so if Guitar Hero isn’t present, just wait a while and come back later. When he is available, you’ll have a 0.5% chance to roll him on Banner 2. This means you’ll need around 200 rolls to get him, or 250 to hit the Celestial Pity Timer and get a guaranteed drop.

Strategies For Use

So what are the best ways to use Guitar Hero during gameplay? For the most part, he’s is just a solid late-game Unit, with good damage output, Hybrid coverage, and a good AOE pattern. What sets him apart from its peers is the ability to inflict the Cripple status, however.

This status effect slows down the movement speed of your enemies, and increases the damage they take as well. This status doesn’t wear off after a set length of time, so any enemy affected will remain so as long as they’re in play. For this reason, you’ll want to position Guitar Hero as close to the enemy spawn point as possible, so he can permanently weaken all new enemies and make them easier for your other Units to pick off later.

In terms of Techniques, The Celestial Techniques that limit you to just one Placement work wonders with Guitar Hero. Since he only has a Placement value of 2 in the first place, losing one in exchange for huge stat boosts is a great deal. These Techniques are Avatar, Overlord, and Glitched.

Skill Tree wise, you’re best sticking to the classic Raw Damage build. For more information on this, check out our Anime Last Stand Skill Tree guide.
