Portals are a seasoned-player game mode which can offer incredibly rare units on successful completion. They are most fruitful during events, where they give limited units and items. You can grab Portals from the Events NPC located around the hub for 150 Gems per Portal. Alternatively, you can join other players’ Portals and help them with the Tower Defense. It is recommended that you have a well-balanced and powerful team for Portals since they’re not easy and get increasingly difficult.
Ultimately, a Portal is no different from the standard Tower Defense gameplay, except the world is typically themed after the ongoing event and they’re harder to succeed within.
The current ongoing event is the Double Dungeon Event, which has the chance to award the players with the following:
Top Tip: The Shadow Monarch enjoys an Evolution, taking this already busted unit to all new heights. The Event NPC sells some of the components for this which is the Abyssal Fang Blade for 125 Enemy Souls. You’ll need to complete multiple Portals to earn enough Souls to evolve the Shadow Monarch as it requires plenty of Souls overall!
