With my Anime Expeditions Traits Tier List, you’ll know the best Traits to reroll for. Traits buff your units in Anime Expeditions, though the effects differ depending on which Traits you obtain. Trait Crystals are required to reroll; some Anime Expeditions Codes grant them for free.

Anime Expeditions Traits Tier List

Traits offer stat buffs to your units, and depending on the rarity of the Trait, it may even provide multiple stat buffs.

S Tier

The best Traits in Anime Expeditions.

• Unbound
  • 0.1% chance or by reaching 1,500 pity
  • Buffs:
    • DMG increases by 350%
    • Seconds Per Attack decrease by 5%
    • Range increases by 10%
• Primordial
  • 0.2% chance or by reaching 750 pity
  • Buffs:
    • DMG increases by 35%
    • Seconds Per Attack decrease by 15%
    • Range increases by 20%

A Tier

If you have any of these Traits, you’ll have to think about whether or not it’s worth rerolling for those in the S-tier.

• Forsaken
  • 0.3% chance or by reaching 500 pity
  • Buffs:
    • Critical DMG increases by 35%
    • Critical Chance increases by 35%
    • Range increases by 10%
• Draconic
  • 0.5% chance or by reaching 300 pity
  • Buffs:
    • DMG increases by 20%
    • Damage Over Time increases by 50%
    • Overall Costs decrease by 10%

B Tier

Great Traits, but there are much better ones to roll for.

  • 9% drop chance
  • Buff:
    • EXP Gain increases by 50%
• Precision 2
  • 4% drop chance
  • Buffs:
    • Critical DMG increases by 10%
    • Critical Chance increases by 20%
• Optics
  • 3% drop chance
  • Buff:
    • Range increases by 25%
• Investor
  • 2% drop chance

These Traits are good placeholders while you save up your Trait Crystals.

How to Get Traits

To obtain Traits in Anime Expeditions, you need Trait Crystals. To use them, head to the hub area of the game to find the Trait Rerolls area. If you can’t find it, it’s next to the Evolution and Crafting areas.

After interacting with the Trait Rerolls area, select the unit you want to roll a new Trait for and start rerolling. With each reroll, you can see the pity bar increase for the rarer Traits.

As you can see from the rankings above, the rarer Traits are granted if you manage to reach pity milestones. This requires you to spin until you hit pity. It works similarly to how pity systems work in most gacha games.

To get Trait Crystals, participate in various game modes within Anime Expeditions to earn rewards and keep up to date with the latest codes. Not all codes grant free Trait Crystals, though.
