Welcome to Gamezebo’s walkthrough for Amazing Adventures – The Caribbean Secret.

General Game Information

Hidden Object game with 25 Chapters and more than 50 mini game puzzles.
"Legend has it that over 300 years ago a Spanish ship loaded with a fortune of gold went missing. This amazing treasure is known as "The Caribbean Secret."
The game can be played in timed or relaxed mode. Click on the "Options" menu to choose your game mode.
In the main menu you can click on "Options" to adjust volume of music and game sound effects.
You have the option of unlimited hints by checking a box in the "Options" menu.
In the game there are many types of puzzles. You will be asked to find hidden objects in a scene, compare 2 scenes to find the differences, and place missing items back into a scene.
There are multiple mini games in between hidden object scenes. You will have to complete games such as match 3, word search, jigsaw puzzles, rotating image puzzles, and swapping image puzzles.
In the hidden object scenes you may be asked to find 2 skulls. In the upper left corner of the screen you will see 2 skulls and if their eyes are not lit up then you will need to find skulls in that particular scene. You will either see an image of a skull or the word "skull" somewhere in the scene. Click on the skull and the eyes of the skull in the upper left of the screen will light up. Not all screens require this. All skulls have been found for you in the walkthrough and are marked with the color red.
Once 50 skulls are found you will unlock two mini games which can be accessed in the main menu. The games are "Unlimited Seek and Find" and "Match 3 Bonus Game." In the match 3 game you will be re-playing the screens you played in the main game. In unlimited seek and find you will be asked to find every item in a particular location.
Another feature of the hidden object scenes you may be asked are "special tasks." The special tasks are noted when the instructions at the bottom of the screen have quotation marks around them. When you see an instruction with quotation marks you will click on one item in the scene and drag it to another so the items can interact. All special tasks in a hidden object scene have been marked with green.
All items in the hidden object scenes have been marked with the color yellow. Each time the game is played there is a different list of items to find and special tasks to perform. The items in the walkthrough may vary from your screen.
Your score will be displayed on the upper right corner during the game or you can click on "Score" on the main menu and it will have your score listed according to rank.

Game Elements

Hidden Object Scene

This is a sample hidden object scene found in the game.
A. Skulls – This shows you if there are 2 skulls to be found in a particular hidden object scene. TIP-It is a good idea to look here at the beginning of each new screen. If the eyes are NOT lit up then you will need to search for 2 skulls somewhere in the scene which can either be an image of a skull of the word "skull." Once you find a skull click on it and the eyes will light up. Finding all 50 of the skulls will unlock 2 mini games found on the main menu.
B. Timer/Mission Level – Here you will see which mission and level you are on and if you are playing in timed mode you will see the game’s timer here.
C. Score/Items to find – Here you will see your ongoing score and how many items you are to find in a scene. TIP – It is a good idea to keep an eye on this feature. As you progress through the game the number of items you must find will increase.
D. List – This is the list of items you must find in the scene. TIP – Look right away for quotation marks around the text. If you see them then this is a "Special Task" you must perform by causing 2 items in the scene to interact. (See image below for more on "special tasks")
E. Menu/Hint/Pause – These are the buttons you can use to navigate around the game or to obtain a hint if you are stuck. (More about hints below.)

Special Tasks

In the list of items you are to find you may see instructions with quotation marks around them. If so this is a special task you will need to complete within the scene.
There is only 1 special task per scene if any at all.
In the example above you are asked, "Mend the Boat." 1. Click on the loose boards on the boat’s deck. 2. Drag the boards to the hole on the side of the boat and it will repair.
Each time you play the game under a new name you may be giving a different special task to perform as there are several for each of the 25 locations in the game.

Hints

There are hints for you to use if you get stuck.
If you go into the "Options" menu found at the Main menu you can click on a box that gives you unlimited hints throughout the game if you wish.
To use a hint click on the hint button and one of the items in your list will have sparkles around it in the scene as shown above. Click on the item and it will be marked as found on your list.
Hint buttons recharge between uses. Simply wait a few moments until all the color is restored on the key and the word reappears. Once you see the word "Hint" on the key you can use it again.

Find the Differences

Here you will find the screen is split in half.
You must find the differences between the 2 sides which is only items missing out of the scene. There are no changed colors or moved objects simply objects there or not there.
You will find the cursor has changed into a viewfinder on one side and your regular mouse on the other. Place the viewfinder over the item and you will see they run parallel to each other. When you find an item missing click on the left mouse.
Note the count in the upper right hand corner as the number of differences you will need to find will go from 5 to 15 as the game progresses.
You can use the hint button in this screen. Click on it and an area will sparkle showing you where the differences are.

Item Placement Screen

Here you will find a scene just like the one you saw previously and you will be asked to put items back into the scene in their correct locations.
You will see a split screen such as the find the differences and you will need to place items on both sides based on what is missing.
There are 10 items to put back into a scene. Click on an item and it will stick to the cursor. Place it where it goes then click on the left mouse button. If you are correct the item will lock into place.
You can use the hint button for this screen if needed. Sparkles will appear in an area showing you where to place the item.
In the walkthrough these screens are color coded. Look for the item at the bottom and for its corresponding color in the scene as shown above.

MINI GAMES

Match 3 Game

In this mini game you will play a match 3 game.
Any time you place 3 or more of an item in a row and make a match the tiles behind the items will turn blue.
Your goal is to turn the entire table of tiles blue.
As the game progresses the screens become more difficult.
TIP – When you have a difficult screen with many holes and turns go for matches in these areas first.

Word Search

Here you will be required to find 10 words in the grid.
The words can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal and forward or backward.
When you find a word click on the first letter and hold the left mouse button down. Drag it until you reach the last letter of the word and then release. It should show the word crossed off as the image above demonstrates. The word will be crossed off the list at the left once complete.
Once you find all of the words on the list you will be shown your next mission location.
You may use the hint button for this feature. Click on it and the next word on your list will highlight for you.

Memory Match

Here you will find the traditional memory matching of pairs game.
Click on one tile then another to see what is behind it.
Using your memory try to match the 18 pairs behind the grid.
Once you find all 18 pairs you will see the location of your next mission.
Hints can not be used in this game.

Swap Tile Puzzle

In this puzzle you will swap the tiles until you have them all in the correct location and recreate the image to the lower left of the screen.
The tiles do NOT have to be next to each other.
Once you move a tile to its correct location it will lock into place and become part of the scene.
Once you complete this puzzle you will see the location of your next mission.

Jigsaw Puzzle

This is a traditional jigsaw puzzle.
Place the pieces so they fit together and complete the image shown at the lower left of your screen.
The pieces will rotate if you right click your mouse while the cursor is touching.
You will need to rotate pieces frequently in the puzzles.
Once you have the correct location the puzzle piece will lock into place.
Once you complete this puzzle you will see the location of your next mission.

Disc Rotation Puzzle

Here you will complete the image by rotating discs row by row.
Once all the discs are rotated to their correct positions the entire row will disappear whether vertical or horizontal and you will see an image of your next mission location.
Use the image to the lower left to guide you.
You can not use hints for this puzzle.
Once complete you will see the location of your next mission.

Tile Rotation Puzzle

Here you will complete the image by rotating the tiles row by row.
Once all the tiles are rotated to their correct positions the entire row will disappear whether it is horizontal or vertical.
Use the image to the lower left to guide you.
You can not use hints for this puzzle.
Once completed you will see the location of your next mission.

NOTE – You will be asked to find a "Spintop" in many levels of the game. Sometimes you will see images and other times you will see the actual word "Spintop."
NOTE – Some of the items you are asked to find are puzzles within themselves. You may be asked something such as, "Has its own trunk" answer: Elephant. I have listed any of these I ran across in quotation marks in the guide.

"Abandoned Boat"

Locate the 2 skulls hidden in the scene and circled in red above.

Level 2-1
"Voodoo Hut"

Match 3

Here you will play the match 3 mini game. (See instructions above if needed.)
Goal – Turn all the background tiles blue to complete the game.
If you sit idle for a few moments the game will give you hints and arrows will appear showing you potential moves.
When you finish this puzzle it will show you the location of your next mission.

Level 2-2
"Cottage"
