There is something satisfying about rolling a paint-covered ball around a blank canvas. Well in Amaze, this canvas is awkwardly shaped, making it difficult to cover each section with paint. I say difficult, but not impossible! So keep reading if you want a few tried and tested tips to help you roll to victory.

You might have played games similar to AMAZE!!! In your recent past, but Amaze has a more relaxing approach than other games. There is no timer or move count, so you are free to move around as you please.

The aim of the game is to get your paint on each individual tile in each scene. Some scenes require you to backtrack, others need moves in a certain order to complete them. Whatever the level, these tips will help you complete them all.

Tips, Cheats and Strategies

• Note the notches. There are multiple parts of each map where the wall extrudes in your way. This is normally a sign you have to move in a certain direction from here. You can only move in three directions once you have hit a wall, if you don’t cover any new tiles then you went the wrong way.
• Follow the layout of the level. There are many levels that are symmetrical and are designed for you to flow from one section to another. Moving your ball into the grooves on the wall will ensure you are heading in the right direction.

• Blank tiles show a solution. If you have a few blank tiles in a line either horizontally or vertically from each other, then you have missed a step. You can trace these lines to a protruding wall which will show where you need to go. Don’t just roll around aimlessly and hope, trace these tiles back to a wall.
• Go back to go forward. There is a regular obstacle in Amaze where you have to go back to pick up a missed tile before moving on. If you leave these tiles, then you will have to backtrack to pick them up. Yes, it’s annoying to move backwards for one tile, but often you can move forward again to undo the setback.

• Speed run. There is no need to rush any level you play, but it can be a lot more fun to do so. Making quick snap decisions can help you complete levels as you instinctively follow the path of least resistance. This can help you solve levels quicker as you may over think it if you were to take your time.
• Keep on rolling baby. Once you complete a few levels in a row, don’t stop. The more levels you complete, the harder they get, so try to enjoy a hot streak for as long as you can. When you bump into a few that give you problems, then think about putting your device down for a minute.
