Airport Security is a game about checking to make sure that the people getting on your aeroplane are allowed to be there. It’s essentially a series of mini-games where you’re looking at passports, checking luggage and loads more.

It’s not the most complex of experiences, but there are some tricky sections, and times when you’re going to need to know exactly what you should be doing. That’s where this guide comes in. We’ve played a good chunk of Airport Security and collated all the strategies we’ve discovered into one handy article.

Whether you’re checking your first passport or you’ve become an old hat at questioning suspects, there’s going to be something here to help you out. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Airport Security.

Learn the levels

The levels you’re going to be playing repeat quite often, so it’s important you learn the ropes to put you in the best position to succeed the next time they roll round. When a new challenge pops up, make sure you pay attention to what you’re being told.

Check and double check

When you’re checking a passport, take your time and look through all the information you’ve been given by the traveller. It’s not just about the written information, either – make sure you check to see their picture matches.

Green is good

After you’ve patted someone down, you’ll be shown the items you’ve found. If they’ve got a green outline, you don’t need to arrest the person. Remember that a single red item means you’ve got to put the cuffs on them, no matter how many greens they also had about their person.

What’s the cash for?

You can spend the cash you earn on upgrading your terminal. These upgrades don’t actually change anything about the game, though – you’re not adding new equipment, just sprucing up what you’ve got. There’s not much point watching the videos to increase your haul, in other words.

Should you get the uniforms?

You’ll unlock new uniforms as you play. To equip them you’ll have to watch videos. Again, the uniforms are entirely cosmetic, and for the most part you’re not even going to be able to see them. If you want them, by all means take the extra time to unlock them, but they won’t make the game any different.
