Aetherium Wars is a brand-new event in version 1.4 that plays a little bit like Pokemon. Collect a variety of familiar enemies and assemble a team to battle against your opponents. There are multiple zones to explore, and plenty of Aether Spirits to obtain – some can even be upgraded! Becoming the champion rewards you with a free 4-star Belobog character of your own choosing.

The latest event game mode in Honkai Star Rail deserves a tier list! It’s packed full of challenges, hidden chests, and explosive battles – so let’s get into it. Firstly, I’ll rank every obtainable Aether Spirit in the event.

S Tier

The best Aether Spirits to find, collect, and place onto your team! They have the strongest abilities in terms of healing, defense, and attack.

  • Blaze Out of Space (Corridor of Fading Echoes)
  • Entranced Ingenium – Illumination Dragonfish (Cloudford)
  • Entranced Ingenium – Obedient Dracolion (Cloudford)
  • Abundance Sprite – Wooden Lupus (Cloudford)
  • Frigid Prowler (Great Mine)
  • Warp Trotter

A Tier

These Aether Spirits are pretty useful on the battlefield thanks to their abilities – they’re just not as OP as those in S-tier.

  • Imaginary Weaver (Corridor of Fading Echoes)
  • Silvermane Lieutenant (Corridor of Fading Echoes)
  • Aurumaton Gatekeeper (Cloudford)
  • Silvermane Soldier (Great Mine)
  • Everwinter Shadewalker

B Tier

Average Aether Spirits – but still good. There’s no harm in putting them on your team, but make sure you’ve at least got an Aether Spirit from A-tier or S-tier in there too!

  • Silvermane Cannoneer (Corridor of Fading Echoes)
  • Voidranger: Reaver (Cloudford)
  • Vagrant (Great Mine)
  • Incineration Shadewalker

C Tier

I don’t recommend using any of these Aether Spirits, but if you haven’t found any Spirits from B-tier or above, use these for the time being.

  • Silvermane Gunner (Corridor of Fading Echoes)
  • Voidranger: Eliminator (Cloudford)
  • Voidranger: Trampler (Cloudford)

D Tier

Practically useless in a team – I wouldn’t upgrade or utilise this Aether Spirit at all.

  • Automaton Spider (Great Mine)
