It can be a bit confusing to begin with, but the letter on the ball is the letter you’re trying to pick up. If you hit any other letter with that ball, you’ll simply barge it out of the way. Your ball will also change color, so if you can’t see the letter, aim to hit balls that are the same hue as yours.
You’ll get faster as you pick up more balls, so make sure you’re paying attention otherwise things can get particularly tricky. While hitting the obstacles is bad, falling down the holes is even worse – it’ll end your run. Keep in control and don’t take too many risks when you speed up.
There are times when you’ll come up against balls that you can’t collect. While you can barge them out of the way, it’s usually best to try and avoid them, as they can cause havoc if you hit them wrong. Barging is fun, but staying in control is far more important if you want to succeed.
Hitting a spike won’t kill you, it’ll knock you down a letter. The ball representing that letter will also fire out of you, which can make things pretty tricky. It’s best not to hit spikes if you can avoid it, but sometimes it’s your only choice. It’s better to lose a letter than to lose your entire run.
You can spend the coins on increasing the letter you start with. You can also spend them on cosmetics that change the look of the game. You’ll earn plenty while you play, so there’s not much point watching the videos to increase them.
