The A Dusty Trip Diesel canister is the rarest type of fuel in the game. Only spawning in buildings, you’re going to be searching for quite a while to find the V8-exclusive fuel type!

A Dusty Trip Diesel

One of the most important things to put into your car in A Dusty Trip is Diesel! Well, that’s mainly the case for players who have a vehicle with a V8 Engine. Diesel can only be used in cars that have this type of engine, whereas other engines work with Oil and Gas. V8 Engines can also be powered by Oil and Gas, but Diesel is specially made for it.

How to Use Diesel

Firstly, I need to mention that finding Diesel is quite rare. It’s not impossible to find, but it’s definitely not as common as Gas, Water, and Oil. The V8 Engine spawns inside buildings and doesn’t appear in the outdoor areas of the map. Like Dog Tags and other items, you have a higher chance of finding them inside random structures like garages, etc. It also doesn’t matter which map you’re on, as Diesel and the V8 can spawn in either.

Once you have a canister of Diesel, you can pour it into your car’s tank. If your car is not compatible with the V8 Engine, or you don’t have said engine type, the Diesel will not work. While it’s a great source to use in your car, it depletes much quicker than any other type of fuel.  The V8 Engine holds 4L of Diesel and can be placed inside the following vehicles:

  • Vantage
  • Kei
  • Classica
