New updates often come with four new limited badges to obtain, which are clearly displayed in the main lobby before joining a new game. So, what do you do when the only hint is “complete a mystery action in the Volcanic Biome“? This guide tells you how to get the secret 99 Nights in the Forest Resourcefulness Badge, alongside its rewards for completion.

99 Nights in the Forest Resourcefulness Badge Obtainment

To obtain the Resourcefulness Badge, you need to wait for the untimely demise of one of your teammates, and then drop them into the lava, found in the centre of the volcano within the volcanic ruins biome.

That means this badge has some specifics to ensure you do it correctly. Firstly, you have to play with other people, be it friends or strangers. It’s easier to strive for this badge with buddies, as you can ask friends in advance to die near the volcano.

Next, you have to survive the fleet of Cultists that swarm the ashen biome, especially the entrance to the volcano itself. After defeating them all, take your fallen comrade into the volcano and drop their ragdolled corpse off the edge into the lava pool below.

Other than the badge, you don’t earn any additional rewards, unlike when dropping Cultists into the lava for the sacrificial reward of Cultist Gems.

Also, you can revive your teammate. Simply climb down the ladder and revive them using a bandage as normal to bring them back post-sacrifice.

Secret Badge Rewards

For completing this secret challenge, you’ll gain +5 Diamonds, used for obtaining new Classes, alongside x3 Blue Flames. Blue Flames are a relatively new item which you select to use at the start of a new campaign. When used, they turn your campfire blue, which makes them more resilient to elemental changes and increases their lifespan per level cycle.
