A new ranged weapon!
How do you obtain the 99 Nights in the Forest Crossbow? It’s a powerful weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest that players have been waiting for. With the new update, you can also take part in Lava Fishing to collect Volcanic fish.
We all know that one of the Cultists carries an overpowered crossbow, but can we, as players, use one too? The answer is yes, thanks to the latest update! With the Volcano biome being added to 99 Nights in the Forest, you can now search high and low for a crossbow weapon. Due to its power, it’s quite a rare drop.
Like all other weapons in the game, you’ll need ammo, which you can get in the form of arrows. There’s still a bit of mystery surrounding the weapon, as not many people have obtained it during their runs yet. As of right now, we’re not too sure about how to get arrows, but we’ll update this section when we find out.
The main way of getting the crossbow is by defeating the Crossbow Cultist in the Volcano biome. Upon defeat, they fall to the ground, dropping a Cultist Gem and the Crossbow. Previously, the crossbow could not be interacted with, but now, you can collect it and equip it!
Some players report that you can get the crossbow by opening random chests throughout the Volcano biome. If you’ve played the game before, you’ll know that you can find chests across the map that contain random items, including Diamonds.
Well, you can open chests within the Volcano biome to be in with a chance of obtaining the crossbow weapon. However, it’s not clear if this chest is a random one that spawns anywhere on the map or if it’s one of the chests that you can open after defeating powerful enemies, like the Cultists.
