Best known for his twisted performance in 2009’s Inglorious Basterds, Christoph Waltz shows a softer side in the latest commercial for Clash of Clans. He’s telling a bedtime story to a sleepy James Corden (if you have an early bedtime, we’ll forgive you for not knowing who that is), and it’s a story that comes straight from the world of Clash of Clans.
And we mean that in as literal a way as possible –the tale being told recounts an actual battle one player mounted against the defenses of another.
This isn’t Supercell’s first time dipping into the pool of Hollywood greats. In early 2015, they debuted an ad at the SuperBowl starring a revenge-hungry Liam Neeson. Unlike their first big budget video, though, this new one feels like it might be the start of a series. Stay tuned!
