There are few things as disappointing in life as a spoiled vacation. Maybe the airline lost your luggage. Maybe the hotel overbooked. Maybe the natives have taken you captive and have thrown you in a volcano as a human sacrifice. That last holiday-related annoyance is exactly what happened to Colonel Charlie Bravo, star of Bravo Game Studios’ upcoming action platformer Volcano Escape.

Maybe the natives have taken you captive and have thrown you in a volcano as a human sacrifice. That last holiday-related annoyance is exactly what happened to Colonel Charlie Bravo, star of Bravo Game Studios’ upcoming action platformer Volcano Escape.
Players will help Charlie escape his fateful final moments as a tasty treat to the lava gods by blasting everything in sight. Unlike most action platformers though, the action side of things really helps to serve the platforming side, as shooting minions will turn them into solid rock which then form the platforms for Colonel Charlie to leap to as he tries to make his way out of the volcano.
Little more is known about the title at this time, but the developers have confirmed that jetpacks, grenade launchers and shotguns will be available as part of Charlie’s arsenal. The game will also feature Game Center integration, Retina Display support for the iPhone 4, upgrades, and 5 unlockable characters.
