Valiant Hearts: The Great War Gets an Interactive Comic Book Next Month

By Jim Squires |

Here’s a neat twist that doesn’t happen often enough: iOS gamers who’ve purchase Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be getting a special thank you from Ubisoft in the form of an interactive comic book.

Available for free in-app starting on November 6th, the comic will tell the tale of Walt the Dog (whom Valiant Hearts veterans will already be familiar with) and his sister in the early days of the First World War.

“Through intuitive touch navigation, animated comic panels, music and sound effects, the comic book is brought to life and enhances the entire reading experience,” reads today’s official press release.

If you’re excited about this one, can I recommend another free interactive comic book on the App Store to help you pass the time until November 6th? Grab War of 1812 from the Canadian App Store. You’ll need a Canadian iTunes account to download it, but it’s free, and well worth every minute of your time to read.
