Twisted: A Haunted Carol is a hidden object adventure developed by Casual Arts and published by Gogii Games. The summary from Gogii Games pretty much says it all:
“The traditional holiday tale takes a dark twist when a lifeless victim is found with a knife his back and the primary suspect is the old miser Scrooge. Help Marley’s ghost seek vengeance against his crotchety former partner and travel back and forward in time to discover clues with the assistance of the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. It’s a humbug of a murder mystery adventure!”
We only got to spend a brief amount of time with the demo, but we can report gameplay similar to the latter Mystery Case Files games and others. Playing as Marley ghost, you’ll explore Victorian London picking up items that go into your inventory and can be used to solve puzzles. In some cases you’ll zoom in for a close-up hidden object search where you have to find all of the items on the list in order to receive one key item to carry with you.
According to Gogii Games there are 112 scenes across 20 levels, as well as 20 interactive adventure puzzles and dozens of mini-games.
