When it comes to things to see, there’s nothing quite like New York Comic Con. It’s a visual spectacle like nothing else in the U.S. right now, and the show floor is pure sensory overload.

That means it’s easy to miss some things if you don’t know where to look. It also opens the door to pleasant surprises, like awesome figures that are in the works for one of the most popular mobile games around. If you happened to check out the right side of the Kotobukiya booth at NYCC, you already know what I’m talking about. If not, you’ll just have to make do with these pictures.

Yes, those are the characters from Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. And yes, they were even more amazing in person than they look like in these photos.

They were behind glass at the Kotobukiya booth, so I couldn’t actually touch them. They appeared to be about six inches tall and were displayed next to diagrams showing how the sculptors used references from the actual games to produce their stunning likenesses.

It’s also quite possible they are statues and not true action figures, since they don’t appear to have any articulation. Kotobukiya is well known for producing high end collectibles of all kinds.

I asked the gentlemen working the booth more about them, since they were one of the few product lines not actually for sale. The reply I got was that they would only be available through the Clash of Clans website. Neither that site nor the Clash Royale site currently has a shop, but maybe that’s in the works soon, as IGN says this particular partnership has been percolating since last summer.

There also wasn’t a release date posted by them, so your guess is as good as mine as to when they might be available. But they are extremely cool, and if you have any love for the Clash games at all, you might want to start saving your spare change for these bad boys right now.
