As hard as it might be to believe, there are some people out there who still haven’t discovered the puzzling magic of The Room. In fact I just spoke with one such person this morning. I was jumping up and down giddy in my chair when word of Fireproof Games announcing The Room: Old Sins hit my desk — only to have the first gamer I told look at me like I had two heads.
HOW HAS ANYBODY MISSED OUT ON THE GLORY THAT IS THE ROOM??
Whether this will be your first adventure with The Room or your fourth, you’ll be pleased to know that Fireproof Games have just announced a new entry in the series that should be in our hands before the end of the year.
Asides from a teaser image and title, they’re keeping their lips sealed fairly tightly on The Room: Old Sins. That said, they won’t be able to keep their secrets for long: if you’re going to be in attendance at EGX Rezzed in London later this month, TouchArcade is reporting that the game will be playable at the show. Here’s the hoping some Old Sins come to light courtesy of a few tweeting attendees.
And if this is the first time you’re hearing about The Room? It’s time to dive into the App Store or Google Play and pick up some classics. It would be entirely fair to call this series a contender for the greatest puzzle franchise of all time. If you’re looking for puzzles that actually make you think, this is the crown jewel of puzzle games.
