The Force Awakens Comes to Star Wars Pinball

Hot on the heels of the record-setting blockbuster that is Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Zen Studios announced the upcoming release of The Force Awakens Pack for Star Wars Pinball.  The pack is split into two distinct offerings, as it includes a special table themed after The Force Awakens film, which features the ability to fight alongside Rey, Finn and the rest of the resistance against Kylo Ren and The First Order. Knocking around a virtual pinball isn’t exactly the same as an epic lightsaber battle, but more Star Wars is rarely seen as a bad thing.

The new table features table-transformations that take you to different areas seen in the film, as well as the ability to participate in recreations of several key plot points. In addition to the new table, The Force Awakens Pack also includes a DLC scenario called Star Wars Pinball: Might of the First Order. With this piece of content, players help the First Order and Kylo Ren as they turn the tables and fight back against the Resistance. From watching the video above, it looks like this mode features an interesting two-level playing field dynamic that should really shake things up.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens Pack for Star Wars Pinball will be available the week of January 12th on iOS and Android for $1.99.
