Any title that promises to be a cross between Super Hexagon and Geometry Wars, sounds pretty idyllic for those with exceptionally twitchy reactions and the patience of a saint.
If you’re one of those people, you might like Super Arc Light.
It’s a minimalist arcade radial shooter, which has you defending your base against waves of enemies. One button controls mean it’s easy to pick up, but survival won’t be so simple. There’ll be plenty of weapons to unlock to further entice you into trying to survive as long as possible. Don’t expect to hit the high scores too soon, but prepare to feel smug when you survive a few seconds longer than last time.
Those itching to have their reactions tested will be pleased to know that Super Arc Light is set for release later this month on both the App Store and Google Play.
